These sheets are not percale - they are sateen. Some of the packaging says percale, some says sateen, but the hand is sateen. Confirmed today with Overstock that there is an error. If you like sateen, they are nice sheets and a decent value, but if you're looking for cool, crisp percale, these are not it.

This product should have been labeled "defective." One of the king-size pillow cases was not cut on the bias, i.e., would not iron out straight--crooked when you get to the bottom. Very wrinkled but still a value buy.

The quality of stitching. color and fabric is high. Unfortunately, these sheets when washed and dried in the dryer came out extremely wrinkled. My 25 year old sheets never did from day one and still don't. I don't know why they can't make sheets and shirts that way anymore. The problem is that there may not be an alternative. So if you want the quality, buy these sheets, knowing you'll have to do a lot of ironing.

These sheets are wonderful---nice and sturdy and built to last for decades. I've had a hard time finding sheets that aren't sateen, and was thrilled to find these. They are a little coarse-feeling after the first washing, but will get softer with subsequent washings. One caveat: we got the queen sized, and while the fitted sheet has big roomy pockets for our tall mattress, the flat sheet is very narrow: there's tons of room for tucking at the foot of the bed, but none at the sides (enough overhang to just cover the mattress, but not enough to tuck underneath). Ironing might have gotten me a couple more inches, but I think it'd still be tight.

The sheets are very soft and fit the bed generously, no corners pulling up during the night.

Sheets are very comfortable. The only problem is they do wrinkle when they come out of the dryer. The sheets are very high quality for the price. I would recommend others try them if they do not mind the wrinkle issue.

I love these sheets. Look forward to going to bed, just to snuggle down in the luxourious feel of them. Only rated price 4 stars, as we always want more for less. But much cheaper than others I have seen elsewhere.

Exactly what I have been looking for for years--thick and crisp--just like I used to sleep on as a child. Absolutely love them. Intend to buy more.
