    • Great BUT...

      Very pretty and thick mattress pad, sized well, plush inside batting and nice cotton top, stitched well. My problem is when I washed it, the underside (that goes against my mattress) MELTED in some areas. So weird. My dryer is not extreamly hot and I have NEVER had anything else melt in my dryer (and I wash LOTS of polyester uniforms for kids and husband). I love the look and feel of the cotton top but wish the underside had held up more than one wash, I mean dry...

    • One Problem

      I purchased these twin mattress pad covers for friends currently living in a Veteren's Home in Yountville, California. Once I laundered them (before I took them to Yountville) - one of the mattress pads had a portion seem to "burn away" and it was crusty. I did follow directions and dryed the mattress pad in question on low.However, they love them and seem happy with them - they made sure the "burned" or "schorched" area was at the bottom on the bed.They needed these deep pockets as the beds the VA uses are actually platform beds and my friends had to have foam pads over these beds for comfort as there was no box spring provided.

      LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, THIS MATRESS PAD. Got tired of constant work with feather bed; decided to try a mattress pad. Even without considering the great price, this is a super find. Appears others agree - (BUT) - I am concerned to see 2 of 20 buyers experience some kind of scorching on the back. Think I'm going to line dry this treasure. Beats horsing around with feathers every morning!

      This was so easy to find on overstock.com, a cinch to order, and a pleasure to sleep on. The fabric is so smooth that one hardly needs a sheet. The quilted part is very comfy and soft. the extra deep pockets made it easy to fit the mattress cover over the memory foam plus the deep mattress. I highly recommend this product.

      I ordered this mattress pad for my king sized Comfort Dreams bed (also ordered on Overstock.com). I was less than impressed with the packaging. It came in a plain, clear plastic bag which was unmarked except to say "king". I have no idea if what I received was actually the Hotel Collection 370 Thread Count White Mattress Pad or just any other king sized mattress pad that they had in the warehouse. The shipping label said that it was, but there was absolutely nothing on the packaging to suggest that it was anything other than a generic white mattress pad. I was pretty disappointed in that. It seems to be of fairly good quality, so I kept it to use, but I'd be wary of purchasing anything like this again.

    • First purchase from overstock.com

      This was my first purchase from overstock.com. Compared to department stores, prices are unbelievable. The mattress pad is very nice. I both washed and dried it upon receiving it with no issues. THe only "issue" I had was that the brand name is no where to be found (and where there would be an insertion of a product explanation in the plastic bag, it was empty (this might be normal for overstock.com purchases?), but I thought that was odd). But, regardless, it seems to be a great product. I'd definitely recommend it!
