    • Tension doesn't last

      I bought this about 6 months ago and now the tension no longer holds and the curtain keeps falling - I now have to buy another (not this one) - should last longer than this.

    • good combination

      It's imperative to have these roller rings with this rod if you are using a light curtain. There's a catch on the rod where the two slider pieces meet that can snag normal hook rings, but these roller rings go right over it without getting hung up. I really like these roller rings in general. They work great! I ordered the brushed bronze color which is a handsome color.

    • Multi-functional

      Ordered the oiled rubbed bronze and using them as curtain rods on our newly installed windows. They fit perfectly inset in the window frames and with the new grommet topped curtains you cannot tell they are shower rods. They are far less expensive than curtain rods which would mar the look of the framing around the windows and install quickly. The weight of the curtains does not cause the rod to fall like some other rods we have used in the past. Love them!

    • It fits!

      I've learned the hard way that many standard rods are just not long enough. They always sag in the center. This fits well, no sagging, is sturdy, and looks nice.

      Great quality. I bought this curtain rod to match the new faucet finish in our redone bathroom. It looks very nice with our new fixture. The rod is much nicer than I expected. The curtain hooks are not only attractive but also useful. The rollers on the hooks make for a very smooth opening and shutting of the curtain.

    • difficult to keep up

      This product looks really pretty, but the rod has fallen down on us at least three times since we bought it in November, three months ago. I almost returned it, but it hasn't fallen in awhile. It is very tricky getting it to stay put.

    • good for the price...but about a year later...

      I re-did my shower and wanted a clean, simple chrome-looking shower rod that didn't need to be bolted in place. I was very happy with this - and it's still installed in my shower - but now I wish I had spent a little more money and gone with higher quality. I don't have an exhaust fan in my bathroom and all of the steam has rusted the bar. I have wiped it off - a lot of the rust is almost dusty ad wipes off, but there is a lot that you can't get off and it therefore will never look great. The rust came off on my very nice, white shower curtain, and I had to prematurely replace that. I think a better choice for the price would have been white plastic - or just spend the money and get a genuine chrome bar. If you have a very well ventilated bathroom, maybe this won't happen to you - but steam is steam and bathrooms are wet so I think I would say it's wise to stick to plastic if you can't spend the money on a nicer product.

    • Looks more expensive than it really is.

      Having the roller rings included is an extra that only makes this look even more expensive than it really was. Having the brushed nickel color is a great feature.
