This is a very nice set my only problem is the stitching that holds the front to back is off seam lines of pleats. I was to able to remove thread and now it works. Please check with product quality. The colors a very pretty, top is a little scratchy.
I bought the King Size duvet cover to protect a very expensive wool blanket I own, and I've been looking for a long time for just this type of set. This is a cotton duvet that is very simple, no bling, just high quality sewing and heavy material. I washed it first, took it straight out of the dryer, ironed it because I am an iron-er, and put my wool blanket inside, waiting for next winter. I am a big believer in reading the description of items before you buy so you know exactly what you're getting, not just what you *think* you're getting. And this set, for me, is a great value and it arrived at my house fast. P.S. It does NOT have inside strings but I sewed in 4 ribbons in a few minutes.
I have the white duvet in a Cal King size. Its decent weight - the thickness of a decent sheet - and seems well stitched. I've washed it several times, and have bleached it without issue. I've had it for about 3 months and its holding up to weekly laundering well. The buttons keep the bottom closed, and we've had no issue with the comforter sliding out. I'd give it 5 stars except for I think the price point is too expensive for being simply cotton. It's a nice soft cotton, though. Very comfortable with a mid-weight 100% cotton comforter inside. It's never too warm, never too cool.
This duvet cover is perfect! The material is durable yet soft and comfortable. It responds well to repeated washing and the way it is stitched, as well as the position of the buttons, makes it easy to place back over my king-sized duvet.
I bought two. The fabric wrinkles terribly and does not iron out. I have tried everything including fluff air dry and ironing them slightly damp. The seams pucker and hems curl. I have not seen cotton fabric like this since I was a child many decades ago. I let my grandchildren make "forts" out of them. NOT suitable for a duvet set.
I have had this product now for several months and at first I worried about its tendency to be wrinkled when removed from the dryer. I have now discovered how to remove the wrinkles without ironing. I remove from the article from the dryer while still a little damp, spread it on a flat surface smoothing out the wrinkles with my hands. I spray a little water on stubborn wrinkles with a spray bottle if necessary, and fold. If the article is very damp, I let it dry after smoothing. The result is a beautifully "ironed" duvet cover set.
