    I previously purchased a set of 1200 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets and wanted a spare set, so I purchased these ones expecting to be a bit dissapointed after the weight and feel of my other set. When these sheets arrived the first thing I noticed was the hemstich detail and the color - which is amazing! It is actually much richer than shown in the photo. My husband and I love the color so much, we have decided to paint it on our bedroom walls which are currently a red I have loved for years. This color is not ordinary terracotta, but a redder richer, deeper color. (Not at all orangy) Very lovely with my Asian themed bedding set. These sheets have just a hint of a sheen and are very study. I love the extra deep pockets - we have a pillow top mattress with a pad on it and these sheets fit over everything with no hassle. I love the feel of the sheets against my skin and we have found that we don't need a blanket when the evenings are cooler; still the sheets breathe and keep us cool on warmer nights. Compared to the 1200 thread count set, I honestly see very little difference and honestly I prefer these because of the color - so the original set has been demoted to extra set status.

  • Terrible! Pilling everywhere!

    These are, by far, the worst sheets I have ever purchased. They quickly developed pilling all over the sheets, making them very rough and uncomfortable to sleep on. I'm throwing these away and trying to find a sheet set which does not feel like sandpaper after only a few washings!

    • How is the quality of the product? Terrible. It quickly developed very roughnpilling all over the sheet. I'm going to have to buy something else, because we can't stand the roughness from the pilling.

  • one wash and done

    These sheets were beautiful when then arrived. I washed them prior to putting on the bed. After one week of use and one more wash the sheets are showing terrible wear with pilling. I read previous reviews that shared the same experience but, I washed these sheets by themselves and still had bad results. I would recommend going to xxxxx to buy linens.

    When you wash higher thread count sheets in hot water, they will pill! You have to use cold water if you want quality sheets to last. Just an fyi. . .

    I bought these because of reveiws, Not sure why mine are pilly after one washing... Color is beautiful. I have a new pillow top bed, these still don't cover to the bottom-its not even extra thick

  • First Unfortunate Purchase with Overstock

    I bought these in March as I have had several good to excellent experiences with Overstock and was expecting the same. I have been extremely disapointed as this has been my first bad experieince. These sheets have pilled and shrunk both. I have had multiple cotton sheets and am well aware of the priper care for the sheets. These sheets just lack the quality of most ot the other purchases I have had on Overstock. I will be much more cautious in the future and not jsut expect quality.

  • Nice Sheets

    These were a great choice for my daughter's room. The teal color was beautiful. They are so much nicer than the cheap microfiber sheets we have as back ups. Definitely recommend.

I bought a 13 inch memory foam mattress and the fitted sheets just barely fit on the bed. They do fit, but it's a very, very tight fit and sometimes the corners want to pop off. The top sheet is pretty much long enough, but it's very short on the sides, they do not even almost tuck in. I do like the sheets though, they're VERY soft and laundered well. The colors were lovely and frankly, I've had the same sizing problems with sheets that cost twice as much and were 800 t.c. Very high end. These are definately comparable quality for FAR less money. wordsmithbarb on May 11, 2013

I don't have the old sheets, but these sateen sheets are wearing very well without any pilling or shrinking. I recommend giving them a try. Great value for the price. buddy1024 on Apr 5, 2013

King size sheets are super thick, 4llbs including pillow cases. Only draw back is they wrinkle, A LOT. I'd purchase again but maybe a higher thread count to avoid the wrinkled look. stacysolar76nj on Mar 27, 2013

I have a new memory foam mattress which I purchased these sheets for, it's 13 inches deep and these sheet BARELY fit it. It's a VERY tight fit and the top sheet does NOT come close to tucking in on the sides though it is long enough to tuck in at the bottom. They are very nice to the touch, but skimpy in fabric. Honestly though, most sheets, even very high end ones in my experience are that way anymore, almost none of them, even those advertised to fit superthick mattresses are truly big enough. wordsmithbarb on May 13, 2013
