Not comfortable at all even after washing and using fabric softener. So bad I had to remove these from my bed so I could sleep. Will try washing in hot water and fabric softener a few more times. Feels like pins and needles on your exposed skin when laying on, like a wool blanket. Also, I bought California King size and they barely fit my 13 inch deep mattress. I wouldn't recommend these sheets.
These sheets seem to be of fairly good quality and fit well over the 12" mattress we have. The material itself was crisp, and feels sturdy. It did not pill up after the first wash as some reviewers have mentioned. I also didn't notice a lot of lint in my lint catcher after washing two sets of these sheets, which has been a problem for some sheets in the past. After one wash they were very wrinkled, and definitely on the rough side. I do think with a little bit of use they will soften up nicely, but don't expect soft sheets the first night you use them. They also didn't have much of a sheen to them, but that isn't a big deal to me.
I ordered 3 sets of Twin sheets and pre washed one set only. I washed it as the label in cold water, medium tumble dry and the fitted sheet shrank so I could not get it on the mattress. It measured only 58" long!. So I tried one from another set before I washed it and the fitted sheet just fitted. This time I washed it in very cold water and a lower tumble setting. It did fit, just, but what good is it only being able to wash white sheets in cold water!
I ordered these sheets in both King & Queen and I have to say the pillow cases are not 20" I measured mine this morning and they are 18 1/2" . I'm guessing these sheets didn't pass quality control where they came from and that's how they ended up on Overstock. Too bad because overall they are pretty nice cotton blend sheets and come in nice colors.
