these are nice looking, but be aware that they have no rubberized backing (what kind of bathmats don't???). So they will slip and slide on your floor if it's a hard surface.

I bought these throw rugs to accent my back door (sliding glass door) and kitchen work area. We have 2 dogs which make it necesary to purchase a washable rug; these appeared to fit our needs. The very first time I washed them, the 2 larger rugs basically shredded in the washer and dryer; the smaller one remained intact after several washings, but since I had no use anymore for the others found it a bad expenditure. The rugs left all kinds of tatter in my drier and other items washed with them. Not good.
