Great spread - great price
Purchased this quilted bed spread to go in our guest room. There were three requirements we were looking in a bedspread: It need to go with just about any color to allow for future paint color changes; it needed to drop to the almost to the floor and have room to toss the top over pillows; and it needed to be a weight that could be used year round. This bed spread satisfied all of those requirements and the cost was right on target with what we wanted to pay.

received the quilt within 4 days of ordering with regular shipping - lovely old traditional quilt at an inexpensive price! I expect it to last a long time. I'd rate a 5 but the hand stitching attaching the backing with the top isn't as fine as I'd prefer. It remains a wonderful price for the value however!

Different than pictured
Beautiful bedspread but not true to the colors shown in the photo. Colors are much lighter. Also description refers to "Bedding set" and "Bedding ensemble" leading one to think that the shams are included. They are not nor are they even available on Overstocks. The spread is heavier than expected (hoped to use in the spring/summer) but it is more suitable for winter. I am keeping it as it is beautiful and seems fairly well made. Just wish the colors had been darker.

Just what I wanted
I had been looking for an old fashioned spread that would adequately cover a queen size bed without additional skirts or pillow covers. This positively fills the bill. It's almost oversize, hanging down on all sides to within 3 or 4 inches of the floor. It folds over the pillows at the top of the bed with room to spare. It's heavy and very well made. Colors are muted and go well with my decor.

Love This Quilt-Spread!
From the picture & description, I though the background & backing would be white but it's actually ivory or ecru, which I prefer. The colors are a little more muted than they appear in picture, which I also prefer. It is not light-weight, a little heavy for Florida summers but perfect for this time of year. The queen size fits our queen bed perfectly with plenty of length to wrap pillows and no need for a bedskirt - it's a true bedspread. We are very happy with this purchase.

Very happy with this quilt
I wanted a longer bedspread for a full size bed and it filled the bill. I washed it first in my front loader and dried in the dryer. Laundered beautifully. Did not shrink that I could tell. Good workmanship.

Great Buy!
purchased this bedspread in "king" to be used on my queen-sized bed. beautifully made, quite heavy as the back -side is not printed but cotton muslin. i like the fact that it doesn't compete w/ the quilted side because the quilting is definitely the star here. colors are very accurate as shown on my monitor--this quilt will go w/ just about any color and there are many colors to choose for accenting your look. i have a high queen-size bed w/ an oversized mattress and the bedspread hangs mid-point on my bedskirt. I tuck in the top like a bedspread (under the pillows) but it really looks more like a quilt in my case. w/o a doubt a very good buy. highly recommend if you are looking for a colorful well-made bed cover. have not washed it yet and probably will consider having it dry-cleaned, even though it's washable, just because its very heavy and large. Give it 5 $$$$$.

great product
It is difficult to find bedspreads and after extensive searching in stores and online, I found this bedspread. I have a tall queen size bed and I don't care for shams. The bedspread is large enough to almost touch the floor and long enough to generously cover the pillows. It is machine washable. The colors are diverse which makes it easily adaptable to any color scheme in the room. The price was great and the quality was very good.
