Better Than Expected
I have been slowly constructing my dream "all white" bed, and I've been playing with different duvets. I insisted on duvets, since I'm tired of dragging huge comforters to the dry cleaner, only to have to bring them back within a couple of weeks. This duvet set is absolutely beautiful. The fabric actually looks more like sateen, as it has a very pretty sheen. Love the tone on tone soutache. If you want something feminine - but that could be suitable for an grown up girl - this is the duvet set for you. I think I'm going to purchase a second, because I'm afraid that if I don't, it will sell out and I won't ever be able to find a pretty, white duvet cover set like this again.

Duvet cover was just as it was described online. It fit my comforter perfectly and it looks fabulous on my bed. I am glad that I purchased it. I would recommend this product to everyone out there who is deciding if they would like to buy it or not.

I love this set!! I feel like I'm sleeping in a hotel bed every night. I love how it all looks put together. My bed sheets are also a nice white...and I have two white pillows. My gosh...I feel like I'm on vacation. Can't recommend this enough. Duvets are ordinarily very expensive and this one is a relative steal!

Very pleased!
I was worried it might be flimsy and thin, but it's not. It looks exactly as shown. I ironed it (it ironed easily) and it looks beautiful in my guest room. My only issue is that I wish there was more body in the edging on the shams. But for the look, overall quality and price, it's a keeper.

Not Exactly What I Expected
The photo looks like the soutache uses a white ribbon, but in the current trend/fad the soutache uses ripped fabric. When I received the product, I spread it out over the bed and it looked beautiful..... except for 3 very noticeable stains that looked like spilled tea (about the size of dollar folded in two) and 2 smaller black stains along some of the soutache stitching that smelled a bit like sewing machine oil. My heart sank, as both tea and oil tend to stain permanently. I washed it immediately by itself using my hottest setting and best cleansers and the stains came out, I am happy to say. But the soutache no longer looks the same as in the photo. It looks a lot more like a very anemic chenille. It's still pretty, but it has a very different look than I thought I'd get from the promo pic. I'm not sure how long the soutache will last as I expect it will unravel a bit more with every wash.

Lovely duvet, though not what I expected
This is a lovely, soft, and very pleasant cotton duvet. So I'm keeping it, although it was not what I expected. I guess I didn't know what soutache meant and I believe the photo was rather misleading. I expected an elegant, satin-like look and feel. Instead, the style is definitely shabby chic, much more casual. While that still works for me in this case, I prefer less of a surprise when I open a box.

Soft 100% cotton, just what i wanted. We are soon to have a baby girl, and our pink n white nursery doubles as a guest bedroom by having a queen sized bed in it. I was afraid of an overcrowded feeling in the bedroom, but this white set, paired with soft pink sheets actually made it feel brighter and roomier. Looove how it looks n so does everyone else. My mother is visiting to help n sleeping in these n loves the soft feel. I put it on a beige colored duvet and the color does not show through at all. Also i got the eyelets bedskirt n it goes so well. Overall i'm very happy, and price point is great too for the look and the quality.
