they are thin and looked worn. I washed them and they lost like a pound of material. They pretty much fell apart. i would spend my money on something eles
I got these rugs for my bathroom and was very happy with their appearance. I washed them and,--OH,MY!!!They filled my dryer with vast amounts of lint and the loose threads had to be cut apart to separate the rugs. I have washed them a few more times (Hoping the lint would stop) and they are now showing large bald spots. They are lovely soft rugs -if you don't plan to actually use them.
These rugs are not 100% cotton. As a result of the 80/20 Cotton/Rayon construction, the rugs shed, and shed, and shed. Every time you lift a damp foot off the rug, black threads come up with you, and are deposited the next place you step. Choose another product.
Would recommend just what I wanted. Great Value. Color was correct
I was looking for a large sized, dark (to minimize the appearance of dirt) rug without a non-skid backing. I anticipated washing it frequently, and I find the non-skid backings just don't hold up to machine washing or drying. This rug fit the bill. The description alerts you to the need for a non-skid backing. I bought a non-skid backing on Overstock that can be cut in half to back both rugs. So far (couple of days) so good. The rug, over the backing, doesn't skid at all on ceramic tile. It is a very generous size, quite thick and seems well made. It does say to line dry, which I hadn't planned on doing, but with two, I can alternate. The brown is not as dark as the photo appeared; it has a softer color, not washed out looking, but more cocoa than chocolate. There is a subtle square border around the rug. I certainly am no expert, but the rug seems thicker and better made than department store types. It feels as if the fabric is much more dense, softer, and will hold together better than the bath mats that I've always used, those standard department store ones that deteriorate over time. I am using this rug by an exterior door, another reason I bought it. I didn't want anything too "bathroom-y" looking, since I planned to use it elsewhere in the house. It fits the bill for what I needed and I'm pleased with the quality.
I purchased two of these rugs about a year and a half ago for my bathroom. I chose them because they do not have a rubber backing. I purchased the chocolate brown and the color was more red than brown. At first washing, they started falling apart. Definitely not a high quality item. I would not recommend this product.
The rugs have completedly fallen apart in the wash. I would not recommend these to anyone.
I have been using these rugs for about a year now. They have held up well. They washed in cold water and air dryed (no dryer). The color ran, so don't put anything in with them. I highly recommend these rugs.
The rugs arrived promptly. They are well made and plush. I ordered the olive rug which arrived much darker than it appears on the site. I kept it because it is so well made.
I bought these for my bathroom. They are beautiful and very thick. However, when you first get them they appear to be matted and heavy. To alleviate this and make them more fluffy I suggest washing and drying them on GENTLE. Also, make certain you empty the lint trap frequently when drying as you will be amazed at how much comes out.
I like the color and the fabric, but there is no rubber backing and the rugs slip across our tiled floor making it somewhat dangerous if you aren't careful.
Purchase these Luxor rugs for my bathrooom. Overall, I'm satisfied with its quality, value and appearance. The beige color is just like pictured. Rugs are on the thin side but feels good against my feet.
These are great rugs. It's difficult to find 26" X 40" rugs and these are beautiful with a nice feel underfoot,
I bought these a few months back, they are good rugs for the price. The two people that stated the rugs came apart in the washer, I know what happened. I bought some rugs a few years back and washed them on the regular cycle and yes they can be washed apart. The cycle is just too hard on the cotton. I wash mine on the gentle cycle and have no problems at all.
I shop frequently on Overstock and am always looking for bedding and bath necessities. I love the rugs and the only complaint is that I wish they were bigger.
I was looking for bath rugs that were larger than whats normally available. These rugs fit the bill. Beautiful color, I ordered the purple ones. They're soft and plush, yet thick and durable. I'm very happy with these rugs!
Very pretty and soft, these look very nice. Couldn't have got a better deal anywhere else. Thank you once again Overstock!
The chocolate color is beautiful; the rust trim is a nice compliment color. The mats do skid on vinyl so I needed to add a rug gripper underneath which helps too with giving the mats more cushion- otherwise they are a bit thin. Also, must take extra care with cleaning. I put it in the wash in the ultra-delicate setting then dried in ultra low dryer setting, periodically checking it. Half way through the dry cycle I pulled it out to hang dry spending about 20 minutes pulling loose threads. The mats did not shrink and it does look nice on the floor. I just hope I don
The rugs were not as thick as others that I have purchased but I really was unhappy the first time I washed them. They basically fell apart. I don't think they will last more than a couple more washings and since they are white rugs, they will need frequent washing.
These are awesome--perhaps would slip too much on tile but on vinyl they don't slip much if that's your concern. I wanted something super soft and comfy--their large size is a plus (covers more of the floor so floor has to be cleaned less) They say to hang dry but I dried them in the dryer (since who has time for that) and they did fine--came out without shrinkage and as soft as ever.
