I purchased both the duvet 4-piece set and the 9-piece comforter set (for the extra shams and throw pillows). I had never purchased a duvet cover before and am very frustrated with it now. My down comforter moves around in the duvet a lot and the fabric on the outside does indeed feel rough like sandpaper. The color pictured is not accurate, rather than a shiny deep gold it is more of a muted goldish taupe. I now have two sets that I don't really like and because the duvet has been used a little I don't think I can return it. It was a great price for the quantity received but not what I wanted or thought I was odering.

Purchase as gift from family and recipient love it.

This duvet is pretty much as the other reviews said. The only thing that I wished I would have know was how heavy it is. The weight however keeps it on the bed. Overall very worth the price.

I ordered this set because I am moving to a new location and wanted something different. I did not expect to find the great surprise I did. The set is absolutely beautiful and the colors are true. The quality is excellent and for the price, I got more than I paid for. I have shopped with O for sometime and it is because I have never received an item that did not meet with my approval. Your products have always satisfied me and I do recommend your company to my friends. Thanks

I am overwhelming awed by the quality and beauty of this product. The price was so low that honestly, I wasn't sure if I should expect very much but I absolutely adore it. I've paired it with olives and reds and it looks phenomenal. The gold is so rich and the weight of the fabric is extremely remarkable. There is no need for additional blankets or sheets or what have you, it's just perfect. Another Overstock purchase that has dubiously impressed me.

I think it is a very, very good buy. The material is a little stiff but I don't use it for a comforter anyway. High quality!

I purchased this Duvet cover for a guest bedroom, Its a great value for the money. The only drawbacks are, The color is not as bright as the picture makes it look. Its more of a flat gold. The fabric is very stiff. On the plus side, its oversized so it makes a great bedspread. Overall, I was quite pleased with the purchase.

I was very impressed by this duvet cover. It was great quality at a great price.

When I recieved the Duvet cover, it smelled like Gun Oil! It took 4 cycles through the washing machine to get the smell out! If you are not familliar with this smell, It is not a smell that you want to be sleeping with! Also, the top feels like canvas. It really is not very comfortable. It looks just like the picture and it was a great price.

I received the Duvet a couple of weeks ago and found it to be absolutely beautiful. At first I was a little dissapointed about the color, but realized it is a Halifax Gold, which is somewhat between an olive & sand coloring and a touch of gold . It really doesn't go with the color I have in my bedroom, but I can work around the color and blend the Duvet with the gold tones I have. I am still happy about the Duvet, especially the quality and will be using it during the summer period.

It's worth the price! and the fabric isn't all that, but looks nice for a guess room.

This duvet cover is the best value ever. The material is a bit ruff but it will hold up against pets well. It makes the bed look very finished. Overall a great buy.

It's beautiful, came just as described online, fast shipping, good packaging. It's exactly what I expected BUT the top of the duvet cover, the decorative part, isn't soft. It's rough & scratchy. I wish it were more cozy.

This set is a terrific value. I also bought the Halifax 9 piece bedding set also and together they were less expensive than a comforter only in a retail shop. The Duvet is substantial with a flannel backing for comfort. I think it looks best when you get the bedding set along with the duvet set. They make a rich,lush,"Italian Villa" looking bed and all the pillows and shams really add to the look.

Looks wonderful, It is quite larger than my down comforter. Fabric is not as soft as I would have liked. All in all, average buy.

It is very pretty but it is nice, but a little rough. The top fabric is rough and I have to turn down the top so when I tuck it under my face so it doesnt rub. Other than that it is a very nice product.

I love this duvet. It is very pretty print and the material is very good quality. The gold tones are more muted in person than on the pictures. My only complaint is that the queen size I ordered is quite a bit bigger than my queen down comforter, but I am not sure if it is because the comforter is smaller than it should be, or the duvet is oversized, or a bit of both.

Purchased for under $30 and at that price it is a great, great buy. The color is nice and it looks really nice on the bed. On the down side, the fabric is a little rough and the under fabric is not great quality. Nevertheless, for the price - you can't beat it.

The fabric is much higher quality than expected. Try to buy one of these at a department store and you will spend 4 times as much for similar quality. Meets our needs completely.

I have bought other duvets in the past at local retailers but I must say the weight of those were much lighter then this one and I paided two times the price at those retailers.
