I personally have a Tempurpedic Mattress, but needed a comparable comfortable memory foam mattress topper at my boyfriend house as he has a hard uncomfortable $2000 mattress and changing his mattress wasn't an option at this point in time. So the next best thing was a thick enough memory foam mattress topper that would give the comfort of my Tempurpedic mattress. We bought this to go over a foam mattress that was described as "firm" . We love it. It is soft, comfortable and makes the bed a supremely soft and wonderful place to sleep. I would recommend as you can lay on your side, your back, your stomach and there are no pressure points at all. Wonderful!

I too was one of those who fell for the wonders of a Sleep Number Bed..what a waste of money. The matress sits so close to the floor, my bedspread would almost hit the floor, not to mention trying to put the sheets on 2 twin sized mattresses. I decided to get this topper to make my bed higher and so that I could use a regular king sheet. It will take up to three nights to get used to it, but when you do it feels very comfortable. Now it is easier to make up and bedspread fits much nicer.

I suffered from a broken shoulder and although it is healed I was still unable to lay on it for any length of time without pain. The mattress pad has allowed me to lay comfortably on my "bad" shoulder again! I am super satisfied.

I bought this item for my daughter who is 25 years old and has the same bed as when she was in elementary school. She absolutely loved it and was cheaper than buying a whole new bed. After a year I was waking up with a backache and also have a mattress in my spare room which is low quality. I bought two more of these mattress toppers for my room and the spare room and I feel like a princess, very comfortable. However, if you like a firm mattress, this is not for you. I find myself looking forward to getting to bed early!

I searched relentlessly for an affordable topper for our king size bed. My search was over when I found this one! I am so pleased with the thickness, and even though the directions said to let it expand 24 hours, it was ready for me to sleep on in 4 hours. I have zero back and hip pain. Sleeping on this topper is like sinking into a cloud, and several of my family members tested it for themselves and purchased the same topper. Make sure to purchase extra deep sheets (at least 18 inches deep) because this added 5 inches to the height of my mattress, which caused my standard sheets to no longer fit the bed. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and highly recommend it to anyone who desires a more comfortable, pain-free slumber.

If you like having friends over that actually spend time with you and don't have an affair with your mattress then this mattress topper is not for you. The marshmallow fluffy goodness of this 5.5inch mattress topper will claim your friends the minute they sit or lay on it. I am sitting here with a 2 glasses of wine waiting on my friend to come spend time with me but my mattress topper is obviously more important. Bottom Line: buy this. It's amazing but it does steal your friends!

I bought this product because I WAS having lower back trouble and unable to get a full night's sleep. This product changed that immediately. Now, I sleep through the night and have to make myself get up. It's SO COMFORTABLE! No more awaking in pain. No more stiff and sore all day. This product is worth every penny!

I had high hopes after reading all the good reviews but my back was hurting from the lack of support. It was too soft. The topper that came with it was just a pad and offered no comfort or support, I'm not sure how they can say it is 1 1/2" thick. Overstock charges you shipping to return and the King size was 45lbs. Overstock customer service was awesome and understanding and waived the return shipping charge. I don't know if my memory pad was faulty or that's just how they are but I would not recommend this item. Remember too, if you want to return, this mattress is a major issue to roll back up.

My husband and I have one of the original sleep number beds and do love it. We both like a firmer bed but wanted a cushion on top. I hesitated about spending the money on this but it truly makes for the most comfortable sleeping. You do need to make sure you have deep pocket sheets...mine go up to a 20" mattress so I had no problems. We both actually love crawling into bed at night knowing we will sleep well. Some people complained about the smell. When we opened the box we noticed that the foam did not smell but the cover had an odor. I just washed it before we used it and there was absolutely no odor. I cannot recommend this highly enough!

Purchased this Foam Mattress Topper to soften up our mattress in our trailer. It works great! We have slept on memory foam for years and can't seem to get a good night's rest without it. This topper comes with a nice mattress cover with a quilted/padded top. I like this feature - it allows you to cover the foam and your mattress with its deep pockets. Deep pocket sheets (at least 16") will fit comfortably with this topper. Much better quality memory foam than I have purchased previously at the local Box Store.

I highly recommend this product. We have both slept like babies since purchase. One of us had spine surgery and has had chronic back problems for 25 years. Now sleeps through the night without waking up with numb arms, sore shoulders or back.

Description is deceiving....Thought if we buy brand name "Grande Hotel" will be safe, but it came in open box plastic wrap no name brand on it so, it could have been any memory foam ! The foam itself is cheap, it doesn't even seem like its memory foam.Very, soft and you sink in and its so hot...My husband and I woke so sore... The cover was not much. I certainly wouldn't say it was 1.5 inches...maybe if you really fluffed it.Sent this back!!! Overstock took it back with no problems, although didn't like being charged a fee to return a product that ,,doesn't have a accurate description....

We were looking for something to make our expensive mattress comfortable :) Seriously, Sterns & Foster and they were too hard to sleep on. And, two twins had been used to make a king sized bed and one of us was always uncomfortable on the separating mattresses. This topper is amazing! It has four inches of memory foam and comes with a very nice mattress cover with an additional inch of height. Our bed looks great and is so comfortable!
