If you're looking for a cushy soft topper this would be perfect. I found it a little too squishy, but I like beds on the firmer side. The Egyptian cotton cover was a nice surprise. It's very nice, excellent quality, and it fits over the topper and your mattress for a seamless fit.Read More
I highly recommend this product. When it comes to bedding, I'm a comfort/quality snob. In Dec 2011 I bought this topper for the twin bed of my oldest son (then 16 and 6'2", 175 lbs) after doing an enormous amount of research. He was still sleeping on his mattress of 10 years and, though the mattress was originally of very good quality, I felt that due to its age and my son's man-size body, that a topper would make the mattress more comfortable. Also, since he would be leaving for college in 2 years, I just wanted to make the mattress last till then and avoid buying a new twin. The topper was great right out of the box. It had a very slight "new foam" smell (which I expected) that dissipated after less than an hour. The dimensions of twin size were spot on. The foam density was good - soft and comfy but firm enough to support and stay perfectly in place (unlike the previous topper I bought which would "shape shift" each night so terribly that I finally chucked it). My son has just loved this topper so, before he left for college this past August, I bought him the exact same topper but in a double size to fit his apt mattress. He was thrilled and what a HUGE difference it has made (those college mattresses are soooo bad!) Immediately after my oldest son shipped out, his younger two teenage bros sparred to become the next owner of the topper. After winning a silly bet, the youngest son (16) prevailed over the middle son and now adores the oldest son's used topper. So, I suppose you can guess what I'm buying the middle son before he leaves for college this August!Read More
To say that we had difficulty sleeping would be an understatement. After purchasing this 3" memory foam topper, well, it was heaven sent. Both my husband and I have stopped tossing and turning. We sleep all night in comfort. We purchased the King size topper for ourselves, then a full size for his mom. Aches and pains have melted away. I can't give enough praise for this item. Two of our friends have already purchased and love it as well. I might add this is the first time I have bothered to write a review, but felt it worthwhile if I could help someone else make a decision towards a good nights sleep.Read More
I am very pleased with this foam topper. After years of sleeping atop an oversized featherbed I was curious as to whether the foam topper would be as comfortable and indeed it is. There was minimal "chemical smell" when opening it up from its packaging and that disappeared with a day's airing.Read More

Best Mattresses for Every Sleeping Position
A mattress is one of the most important purchases you can make because you spend hours each day sleeping and rejuvenating for the next day. While shopping for a new mattress, keep in mind the typical sleeping positions you have to ensure you will find the right mattress to help with bone or joint alignment. Below, you'll learn the best mattresses for every sleeping position. Sleeping on your back: If you primarily sleep on your back, you need to find a mattress with support to prevent pain in the lower back. Sleeping on a mattress that does not have enough support causes muscle strain in the back and increases the chance you will assume a poor posture during sleep, leaving you achy in the morning. The best mattresses for this sleeping position have at least 400 to 800 14-gauge coils. Innerspring mattresses feature firm coils to support the back yet still mold to the curvature of the spine. Mattresses with box springs are ideal for those who sleep on their backs because they stabilize weight, offering back support and increasing the life of the bedding. Sleeping on your stomach: While sleeping on your stomach is comfortable, it also increases pressure and strain on parts of the body like the neck or back. Soft mattresses are the best for those who sleep on their stomachs. Look for mattresses that have 300 to 400 14-gauge coils, which will ensure the mattress is soft and comfortable. If you must use a pillow, look into buying a memory foam style, which molds to the head and neck to stabilize them during sleep. Sleeping on your side: Side sleeping is one of the most common positions on a mattress, and it may also be one of the hardest positions to shop for. Since you lay on your side, there is pressure on the shoulders and hips, which could make a firm mattress uncomfortable for sleeping. A mattress that is too soft is often not supportive enough to keep the spine in proper alignment. The ideal mattress for this position is one that has supportive coils, with a memory foam topper to provide comfort to the joints of the body.
