I have purchased Grand Patrician sheets many times when they were manufactured by **. They were our favorite sheets & the only ones I would buy. Then, they disappeared from store shelves about 2 years ago and I was heart broken. I thought I found them here, but these are NOT the same sheets. These are manufactured by someone else and are NO WHERE NEAR SOFT! They are downright scratchy, even after washing. Of course now that they are washed (in cold water, mind you) I can't return them. The flat sheet is shorter than a normal queen flat sheet and comes untucked easily and the pillowcases are smaller as well, so my normal sized queen pillows barely fit. The fitted sheet is smaller and does not pull down to the bottom of my box springs as they should. It should be noted that my box springs are only 15 inches deep. NOTHING ABOUT THIS SHEET SET IS SATISFACTORY!!!! In my opinion, all they are good for now is the trash! What a waste of **!!! I will NOT buy sheets on Overstock.com again.
I was excited to purchase these sheets with such a high thread count and beautiful color. Out of the packaging, they seemed wonderful. I washed them once, and they had already balled up. By the second and third washing, it's just like sleeping on a rough textured blanket, with terrible wear on the material. I have never had a set of sheets go nubby like this, which is unfortunate.
There is no way these sheets can be 1000 thread count and made of Egyptian cotton. I have 600 thread count sheets that are far softer and nicer than these. Even after washing and drying, the sheets are scratchy and uncomfortable. Very very disappointed and sad that I invested the money into what I thought was going to be something nice.
Sheets immediately started to pill upon first use (washed in warm water with mild detergent prior to first use) and have been continuing to pill as we've been using them. Have had for 4 weeks and am eagerly awaiting delivery of a new set of sheets as this are incredibly uncomfortable. Color of sheets was accurate and delivery was prompt.
1000 thread sheets??? yeah if 1000 here equals 200 threat count anywhere else. I now good sheets. These are terrible. These are not 1000 count sheets by any definition that would be acceptable to anyone who has ever touched 1000 count sheets. Simply do not buy them. Its really poor judgement that Overstock would even allow this crap to be sold. I will no longer by any sheets on here because it seems Overstock does't offer good value at a price. They offer mislabeled products that represent to be more that they are. If you do one thing correct today,a good choice would be not to buy these sheets. I just happened to be looking at my order history sand I came across this chance to right a review. I hope I save a lot of customers the pain of getting these in the mail. Thank me, I am wonderful.
These sheets, although advertised as 1000 thread count Egyptian cotton, well,, the "BLEND" was the part I guess I didn't think would make a difference, however, it really did. They were soft at first, but after one wash, were all pilly like lower thread count sheets. When you purchase 1000 thread count Egyptian cotton, you expect just that. These are not the quality I would expect for that thread count. I would not purchase these again.
I'm really disappointed with the quality of these sheets. I purchased them in April, and now the sheets are coming apart at the seams. Even the pillowcases. The quality of the material is nice, no pilling, very soft, but I don't think they'll make it much longer before all the seams come completely apart.
