First let me start of by saying that I love great sheets. When I find them I buy a couple of sets and I'm hopefully set for years. The last time I bought 800 TC sheets it was from Overstock about 7 years ago. The last set of those sheets just fell apart last month. I have been very anxiously awaiting my new set but not I'm wishing I hadn't thrown those out! My 7 year old pair was still thicker and better quality than these! I am completely baffled by all the 5-star reviews. I thought sheets made in the US had to label their sheets as 2-ply or 4-ply if they twisted multiple fibers together to get a higher thread count. There weren't labeled as all. They came in clear, plastic wrap and that's it. But there is no way these are singly ply fibers. I would say these sheets are 400tc max. They are thin. But the worst thing about them is the smell! Oh the smell! As soon as I opened the package my whole living room smelled of formaldehyde! These sheets are absolutely wrinkle free and it's because they are coated with chemical to make them such. Cotton wrinkles! It's suppoed to! Please don't coat sheets with toxic chemicals to make them wrinkle-free! These are definitely going back. I'm incredibly disappointed.
I have not purchased sheets from any other source than Overstock for the past many years; therefore, I have not purchased sheets very often. I always select the Egyptian sheets with a high thread count for softness and durability. These sheets are no exception. The reason I rated them as a 4 instead of 5 is because the sheets I purchased a few years ago (my other set of sheets) are softer and don't wrinkle quite as bad. But overall, these sheets are well worth the money.
Best American made sheets I have ever found. Veratex makes a nice, heavy, long lasting sheet that is comfortable and holds up well, wash after wash. I have noticed some pilling on one side and this can be uncomfortable, at times. This is the only complaint I have about these sheets. Otherwise, they are a great buy.
While these sheets are not top quality they are somewhat close. They wash and dry well with very little wrinkles. They have a bit of crispness, not as good as grandmas but closer than I have been able to find. Really though, for this price you will not be disappointed and maybe even a bit surprised.
These have to be one of the best sets of sheets that I have bought in a very long time. They are well made, in the USA in fact! I have sheets of 1500 thread count as well as pure silk and I would put these up against my others and these would win out. They are comfortable, easy to care for, and a great value.
They feel scratchy against the skin. These are not good sheets, certainly not luxury sheets. I feel there is no possible way that they are 800 thread and if you think you're going to be surprised at how smooth and soft they feel, then you are going to be very disappointed. I have no way of knowing this for sure, but all the five star ratings of these sheets make me very suspicious. I will say this, they are deep pocket as advertised. I have a four inch foam mattress topper and regular sheets don't fit over it; these sheets do. I just wish they weren't so scratchy.
These sheets are really nice quality and feel great! They do wrinkle quite a bit out of the dryer but with more washes I am sure that will get better and I don't mind that. I expect these sheets will wear well and last for a long time and that makes them worth the money.
