This set of hooks and shower curtian rod look just like the photos shown in the advertisement. The Rod is pretty sturdy and has nice rubber grips on the ends to keep the rod from sliding down the wall. The hooks are nice, I just wish the actual hook part curved over more- they stick out awkwardly when inside the shower, and it also makes pulling the curtain open not as fluid as it would be if they were curved more. The ones I replaced had more of a curve to them, and a more finished look. The hooks kinda look cheap, but the oval porcelain part of the hook looks okay. They sell the rod seperately, if buying again. I would buy just the rod and maybe some other type of hooks. Otherwise, I'm satisfied with my purchase.
