    • great blanket

My father wanted a lightweight blanket that was not cotton. He absolutely loves this one. He said it was exactly what he wanted.

    • Warm & Cozy

This is now my absolute favorite blanket. It is so warm without the bulk - I would have to use four blankets to equal the warmth of this one. I was debating between a down blanket and a wool one - I am so glad I opted with the wool. Will be purchasing another one very shortly for my guest room. It is very well worth the price & it will last you for many, many years.

    • Merino Blanket

The ends of the blanket are not finished with a cotton or satin binding but the blanket itself is very good value for the price.

    • wool blanket

The blanket is soft, well made, nice weight, doesn't scratch or itch. It washed well, and didn't shrink. I love the color and the feel of it.

    • wool blanket

The customer service was great...shipped rapidly and arrived in good shape. It is light weight but warm. It is over size and rather stretchy...so If you have a queen sized bed, I would recommend a full size blanket.

    • Fabulous Quality

Not only does it give one a great feeling these days to purchase something that is actually made in America, but it also is quite luxurious to get under this blanket at the end of a hard day. We have had one of those relentless winters and I am kicking myself for not purchasing this blanket sooner. It is lightweight so it fits nicely under the comforter...it is soft and durable and WASHABLE unlike the other wool/silk blends made in Italy. AND, what a VALUE!!! It is over-sized with plenty of room to tuck at the feet and create army like hospital corners. Thanks Overstock!

    • Merino wool? Not according to the package...

Two things I would have wanted to know prior to purchasing this blanket: First, contrary to how it is advertised, it is not made of merino wool. It is made of 100% virgin wool--according to the packaging, the tag on the blanket, and other websites advertising the same product. Second, the shipper requires that a live person sign for the package--I couldn't sign the slip and have the delivery person leave the package, and because it was shipped via Fed Ex ground, I could neither reroute the package nor could I find out when they would deliver it. (My boyfriend had to work from home for the day just to sign for the package.) On the plus side, the blankets (I bought two) are thin but warm enough for a southern California winter, the weave is attractive, and the edges are nicely sewn--that is, they seem unlikely to come apart or fray. Also, the queen-sized blanket is more than ample for my queen bed. While I wouldn't necessarily want to wrap myself up in the blanket (even soft wool makes me itch!), as a layer on my bed, it performs well.

    • It's about time

This is one of the best blankets I've ever used. It is warm and cozy and the fabric pattern is beautiful. This is a class product all the way. I wasn't disappointed and you won't be either. I'm tired of all this foreign disposable product. This is one product that will last and you will be proud to own.
