    • Disappointed! Should have listened to the reviews

      I was quite disappointed in the comforter. It sheds a lot of down and fibers and with the navy color it really shows up. There is very scant fill in most of the blocks and it wasn't nice and fluffy like I thought it would be. I also didn't realize that it wasn't 100% down - only 55%. It is mixed with 45% of some other fiber. This is the first bedding from Overstock that I haven't been happy with.

      HAD TO GET RID OF IT IN LESS THAN A YEAR. CONSTANT FEATHERS ALL OVER THE PLACE. NEVER GOT PUFFY, AND THE FABRIC WAS AWLFUL.

    • No guts, no glory!!

      I don't know about you, but I don't do dry cleaning. When I saw this comforter, I was hoping not only that someone reviewed the color accuracy, but more importantly-- why hasn't anyone tried to wash it??? I bought the purple one. The color in the photo is accurate. It's a nice deep color, and not plum. It's a nice rich purple. The reverse side is a nice muted lavender, not cheesy lavender. It's perfect. So, for all who are curious, I washed it and put it in the dryer. It didn't explode. and it didn't fade. Some of the down (not all) bunched up a little after the washer- I expected that. For the most part, it fluffed right back up after the dryer. I didn't want to over dry it, so I let the other fluff work it's way out later. Honestly, I think washing and drying it is completely fine. Next time I'll probably try those dryer balls with it. It's not a very heavy comforter, and that's exactly what I wanted. I don't like being swallowed up and suffocated by my comforter. This one is going to the Dominican Republic, and I think it will be perfect for cooler nights in the winter, or with the AC on. The fabric is plenty soft enough, and there are no feathers to be found. I don't knoiw why some of the feed back said they had feathers poking out. Feels like nothing but down to me. Really great quality, especially for the price!! Good luck to all, and wash the stupid comforter!!

      To say that what I bought qualifies as a queen size comforter is a stretch. It barely covered my bed. While the color was nice the comforter itself had very very little down in it. Some squares had absolutely no filling in them. I was very dissapointed with this product.

      I have been using this product for a month now and love it. The cream side of the comforter has a "dingy" look to it, but I have been using the white side. I bought the king size and it could be a bit bigger to fit the bed completely.

      This is my first down comforter and I love it! Was a bit hesitant because of my allergies, but no problems. Product is very well made, cover material is very good, fluffs up nicely, fits our King bed well, is lightweight but very cozy, good value for the price -- very happy with purchase. Bought another recently for our RV.

      If you plan to use a duvet cover, this item is ok for the price. I had hoped to use it in warmer weather without the added weight of a cover, since it is colored. However,the cream/white version is dingy and downright unattractive. A cover is a must, defeating the whole purpose of my purchase.
