This is a great comforter. It is med. weight and very warm. I lovve how they have designed it so that you have little down around the sides where it is not needed, this keeps it nice and lofty on top. The cotton cover is very tightly wover (370 tc) and I have not had ANY down escape which is very unexpected. I have owned probably 12 down comforters over the years for all our family members and I would say this is the nicest one yet. It is not as heavy as some but really you do not need that weight even in very cold areas. Once you add a duvet cover it is almost too toasty. Don't hesitate on this one. It is made by the name you see everywhere in high end down : )

I have had this down comforter for nearly two years. It has held up quite well, and is very warm, but I am able to use it in the summer without becoming too hot. Even my husband, who has MS and doesn't like to become overheated, is comfortable all year. Despite the baffle box construction, there has been some shifting of the down--particularly in the sections near the top of the comforter, as well as in the edge around it. Still, I have washed it in our large capacity washer and dryer twice without any problems, and will probably buy another from the same company in the future.

this is the greatest comforter and amazing price. not one down puff has escaped since i bought it about 3months ago! NOT ONE! super soft, super warm, nice and thick, super fluffy/puffy, durable, quality item. exactly what i wanted. when you first get it do not be alarmed by it's loud crunchiness lol--yes it is super loud at first, but it is not feathers crunching (all nice down, no feathers), it is just the material (i think maybe it's treated in some way) BUT THANKFULLY IT WEARS OFF IN A COUPLE WEEKS and it is quiet and soft and beautiful now! (and no i have not washed or cleaned it in any way yet). it is nice and large, i got the king size for my california king size bed, and it fits great and hangs over the edges. one annoying thing is that the listed measurements are a little off, it is (on the packaging that it came in) listed as 108x98 inches, but when i measured it s more like 99x105 inches. annoying. but still plenty big:) i really could not have asked or dreamed of anything more in a down comforter!

I bought this comforter because the reviews said it's a great weight if you live on the Pacific Coast, which I do. Little did I know it was just a sneaky way for the manufacturer to "name drop" -- the brand name was being withheld and this was their way of getting the name out there. This comforter is much too heavy. I have/have had comforters that are warm, but not heavy. It's just plain uncomfortable. I waited until winter, thinking it wouldn't bother us as much, but it's still too heavy, even during the coldest months.

I bought this for my old victorian apartment in San Francisco - where it's been in the 40s at night. It is fluffy and warm and perfect. I could not find a better deal anywhere, online or in any stores. If you are doubtful about whether to get this, I suggest you buy it. Will not disappoint. I have a Cal King and it covers the sides and bottom perfectly since it was oversized... no feathers have come out. Very happy.

I was looking for a comforter that was light and was not for cold areas and could use most of the year. I think this is the one. It is well made, & feathers stay enclosed. Also it is the largest Cal King I could find in size. It covers the bed very well and then some. This comforter will work for any cold weather we may get also. We put it right out of the box and on the bed. No smell to speak of at all.

This was our first purchase with Overstock.com, and I was skeptical. All of that diminished when I opened up my package in a reasonable timeframe, and read the duvet's details in the packaging. It is a much better duvet than I agreed to buy! My husband and I are very impressed with the quality of the fill and the construction. Obviously, Overstock.com under promises and over delivers! Love that.

Comforter really did allow us to lower our heating bill as it kept us happily warm. Would definitely recommend it.

the only reason i haven't given 5 stars: the cotton cover is a bit shiny for me. everything else about the comforter rocks: evenly distributed down, light frothy warmth, not too hot/cold for southern california winter. just what i was looking for - my super-light summer down was too cold and i'd added a blanket for warmth but i can't bear the feeling of weight or confinement on my legs/feet in bed, loathe sitting up reading, legs outstretched with covers pushing my toes down! i'm using it with overstock.com's cozy german flannel sheets - feels like sleeping enveloped in velvety whipped cream - i really don't want to get out of bed in the morning!

Perfect comforter for any climate, we life in Florida and it is still great to snuggle up under this nice comforter. Fill is great, no leakage. Extra long so it isn't short as it drapes over the side and foot of the bed. Fits nicely into an oversized duvet cover, which I also purchased on Overstock. Great item.

The comforter is nice and cozy warm, without being heavy, and the price was very reasonable compared to other places we looked. I am very happy with it.

This comforter is very thin. I live in GA and don't need a puffy comforter and even for this climate it appeared entirely to thin. Also if you plan to use a duvet cover, your cover will look empty and not look good on the bed. The squares seems to be very poorly made and even just upon a bief inspection did not seem to keep the filling in place. This item is definately going back. I've purchased a down comforter couple of years ago at a natiional discounter **** or **** for half of the price and even that was better quality. I was purchasing this item to upgrade, but no such luck. Will have to try something else.

It is only 75 % down, which I did not understand from the listing or previous posts, however it does not feel heavy as a lot of down-feather mixes do feel. It lofts beautifully and feels as light as a 100% down comforter would. You'd assume it was all down from the look and feel unless you read the tag. While I had intended to buy "all down" as I wanted warmth without heaviness, I am very pleased with this purchase. The fabric is lovely and feels really good. It is beautifully crafted, extremely "high-end" and very nice to sleep under. The packaging is very nice as well if giving it as a gift. There is nothing "budget" about it. It is as nice as a custom comforter I had made at an exclusive shop two decades ago . . . . .at a fraction of the price I paid then. We have been using it daily since arrival, including through several cold snap power outages and it is warm and cozy. I am delighted with this purchase. We are using it in our regular size king duvet cover -- I just pinned all four corners and let it "float" inside. This works fine - it is not necessary to find an over-size coverlet the exact dimensions of the comforter. When I get to it, I may sew velcro tabs on each. We are using it on a cal king bed and it drapes beautifully on each side, down to the bed skirt. It is a nice size and does not seem "skimpy."

Love this comforter for warmth but I selected this one in particular because its measurements were oversized. However, my comforter measures 90x98 and not 109x98, as stated on the website.

I absolutely love this comforter and even bought it a coverlet so that I don't have to have it cleaned often. I wish I had bought this years ago. The price was right and it feels so cozy and luxurious all at the same time
