Not as Down-y as Feather-y
I was looking tor a soft featherbed to place atop a foam mattress. And this is a very thick and comfortable feather bed. Although there is a down top, the top is not very thick or down-y feeling. That being said, the feathers on the bottom do not poke up or through the top. So, there is relative comfort when sleeping on it. For the price, I think this is a very good investment if you are looking for a feather bed. If you are looking for a super luxe down feather bed, I think you will be disappointed. But as a regular feather bed, this is superb. It fits a queen mattress well (a little smaller than the bed size when fluffy but spreads out to the bed size once you lay on it and flatten it out a bit). There is the usual feather smell that comes with this sort of product. I did air it out for 48 hours and once it was on the bed, I never noticed it again. The cover is a thick woven cotten and a very nice protector. This is the second that I've purchased, the first being for the guest room bed. Overall, I am really satisfied.

Great Sleep-Aid
I purchased my first Featherbed topper a few weeks ago. My Grandson came over & wanted to have a; "Snuggle" with Grandma! Last Sunday I ordered another Featherbed topper! Guess who's bed its for? I have three more Grandchildren & two Great-Grandchildren & we are a family of; "Snugglers!"

Comfy
ok. at first it was like sleeping on a cloud -- you have to fluff it every time or it will unfluff. I ordered a memory foam mattress pad after I purchased the feather one -- like the memory foam much much better.

Good price...just smaller than expected
This was really very affordable. The only beef is that it is not wide enough. I read the other reviews and therefore bought a California King even though I have a King mattress. It is a good 6-9" short in width.

finally I can sleep
I love this featherbed! It's my first experience sleeping on one, but I'll never go back to before. Our mattress is a high quality mattress, extra firm, but I had started waking up very stiff and achy. I bought this featherbed based on the reviews and it has surpassed my expectations! I don't want to get out of bed in the morning now! In the beginning I could smell a slight musty odor (the feathers, I'm guessing), but I did air it out on our deck and haven't noticed it since. This is the best $**I've spent in a long time.

The quality and comfortability of this featherbed is amazing. I have told several friends about it already. I was extremely pleased for the price I had paid. Which was not as much as I expected for the topper.
