What is the fill power of this pillow?
I couldn't find feather pillows cased in ticking for my adult daughter who had lost her favorite pillow in the 80's on a trip to Disneyland. She has mentioned a few times that she still has never found another pillow she likes. So, when these came I sewed ticking (which isn't as thick as it used to be....) to the pillow front and back. She loves it! I still have the other one (still looking for the thicker old fashioned ticking) and now have granddaughter, grandson, and husband all wanting one for themselves. Guess I will have to buy another set........

This pillow offers no support at all. When I wake up in the morning my head touches the mattress and I have two huge bulges (the "pillow") on either side of my head. Needless to say I wake up with major headache and I consider this pillow a pain in the neck. One ended up.in the garbage but it came in a set of two so I'm stuck with one more. If you are a side sleeper and need support look somewhere else.Read More
I used to sleep on a feather pillow for years but for some reason quit doing so. Was up on Overstock.com purchasing luggage and saw the pillows so read the reviews about how they were great for side sleepers. Had been in need of replacing my current pillow so thought I would be happy with these. They seemed all nice and fluffy when I took them out of the box so I was excited to try it. Sorry to say, after giving this pillow my best shot I am going to have to return them. They mush down to almost nothing when you lay on them. My neck was very sore every morning when I woke up and most mornings I woke with a headache. Since I quit sleeping on the pillow, my headaches and sore neck have disappeared.Read More

For me this is not what I was wanting, didn't pay attention when going back and forth deciding which set to buy. I like squishy pillows, but, if you want a really good, firm pillow, this is it. Even the outside material is really good and thick, no feathers getting out of these! My grand kids like these pillows when sitting up in bed to read or play their electronics.Read More

Best Pillow-top Mattresses for Back Pain
The key to a good night's sleep when you have chronic back pain is as simple as choosing a good pillow-top mattress. Choosing the best mattress involves knowledge of your personal needs and preferences. To get a comfortable night's sleep, start by choosing a pillow-top mattress made from the right materials for you. Next, choose your preferred thickness. Finally, have firm sleep support underneath the cushions of the pillow-top. Below, you'll learn the best pillow-top mattresses for back pain. Choose the materials: Pillow-top mattresses are made from a variety of materials, so choosing the one that is right for you can make all the difference in the world. People with muscle pain should consider down pillow-top mattresses, which provide a cocoon to sleep in. Those with back issues will generally prefer memory foam pillow-top mattresses, which conform to the body and offer consistent support to areas like the lower back. However, it is important to check the manufacturer's information regarding the recommended weight allowances for these types of pillow-tops. Consumers who are heavier than the recommendations may find that the pillow-top cushion compresses in uncomfortable ways, leaving the mattress lumpy. Determine the thickness: Pillow-top mattresses come in a variety of thicknesses, from just 2 inches to 8 or more inches deep. Like choosing the right materials for your pillow-top, choosing the right depth is vital to getting a good night's sleep. Thinner pillow-top mattresses will allow more of the support from the remainder of the mattress to come through and will not develop body indentations as pronounced as those in a deep pillow-top. Pillow-top mattresses that are too soft may fail to provide back support and cause an increase in back pain. However, deep pillow-top mattresses are excellent for customers who suffer from fibromyalgia or other chronic pain. Check the warranty: Just as you would with any other purchases of its size, check the warranty of your pillow-top mattress. Most manufacturers will provide limited, pro-rated replacement warranties for manufacturer's defects, and some will provide a "comfort guarantee." Others may have specific conditions that must be met in order to maintain the warranty, such as having a boxed spring by the same manufacturer. Take note of any special conditions for the warranty and keep the paperwork. View All Mattresses Back to Guides Directory View All Mattresses

Best Vitamins for Energy
Although the simple act of popping a vitamin will not produce an immediate energy boost, some vitamins help the body more efficiently process food, which can create more energy. The B vitamins are known as energy vitamins. If you consume the right amount of B vitamins, you can experience a boost in your energy levels and improve your overall health. You can get your B vitamins by consuming more meat, beans and potatoes. You can also find B vitamin supplements or choose a multivitamin with a comprehensive variety of B vitamins. Health drinks and energy beverages are also likely to include B vitamins. Production of energy. To understand how B vitamins help the body more efficiently produce energy, take a look at how energy is created. The food you eat is broken down into usable components. Carbohydrates are broken down into sugars, and this is where the body gets most of its energy. The carbohydrates are either used right away or stored in the form of glycogen in the liver or muscles. When the body needs energy, glycogen is released and converted into energy. Vitamin B1. Vitamin B1, also known as thiamine, is essential to the break-down of carbohydrates, alcohols and fat. Cells in the body need thiamine to help store the energy from carbohydrates for later use. In addition, thiamine produces an enzyme that processes carbohydrates. The recommended dosage of vitamin B1 for an adult is between 0.8 milligram and 1.1 milligrams per day. Vitamin B2. Vitamin B2, also known as riboflavin, is part of the electron transport chain that converts the carbohydrates into energy. The recommended dosage for an adult is between 1.3 milligrams and 1.7 milligrams per day. Vitamin B3. Vitamin B3, or niacin, helps the body with several functions, including digestion and toxin removal. Niacin also helps convert carbohydrates into energy. In addition, niacin creates starch that can be stored for energy later. The recommended dosage for an adult is between 13 milligrams and 19 milligrams per day. Vitamin B6. Vitamin B6, or pyroxidine, is known as the heart-protecting vitamin, and it also boosts energy. Pyroxidine plays a major role in the breakdown of proteins that get turned into energy. Vitamin B6 also helps regulate mood and behavior, which can help you feel more energetic. The recommended dosage for an adult is between 1.6 milligrams and 2 milligrams per day. Vitamin B12. Vitamin B12, also known as cobolamin, is a famous energy vitamin. B12 is required for the production of red blood cells, and it is also necessary for normal cell metabolism. The recommended dosage for adults is 2 micrograms per day. Pregnant women, however, should get 3 micrograms of vitamin B12 per day. FAQs about Bracelet Fit
Most jewelry is one-size-fits-all. Necklaces slip easily around necks, and earrings are a standard size, so jewelry size isn't usually difficult to select. Bracelets can be a bit trickier, as wrists vary slightly, but not enough to require a wide range of sizes, like rings. Bracelet fit is important for comfort and style. A loose bangle can fall off and be lost, and tight cuffs can be painful and unattractive. When shopping for jewelry, consider these common questions about bracelet fit.
Tips on Necklace Lengths
When choosing a necklace, it can sometimes be hard to choose the right length to go with your outfit. Fortunately, there are some basic guidelines. The standard chain length is 16 to 20 inches, which sits just between the base of the throat and the collarbone, for most people. And just like style, the correct length for you is based on personal taste. It's also nice to have different sizes and styles of necklaces on hand for different occasions.
How to Store a Patio Umbrella for Winter
When summer winds down, it's time to start thinking about clearing off the patio. Begin by putting away patio furniture before winter sets in. Typically, patio furniture and table covers do the job. However, if patio umbrellas are stored incorrectly, mold and mildew can grow on them, leading to an unpleasant surprise the following spring when you want to set them back outside.
How to Keep Score in Bowling
Scoring in bowling can seem complicated to a beginning bowler, but like other team sports, it really is very simple once you learn a few basic rules. In keeping score, you are adding up the number of pins knocked down in each frame, but there are special rules for getting bonus points, which can increase the score substantially. A game of bowling has 10 frames, or turns, per player. There are 300 possible points per game in bowling. Just adding up the number of pins knocked down during a game would give a maximum score of 120, so understanding how the bonus points work is the key to keeping accurate score.

Although most shower curtains are a standard size, you can also opt for slightly longer varieties, and you can always make use of differing heights of rods and use shower curtain rings to create the length you want.

How To Keep a Bathing Suit from Fading
Three things cause a bathing suit to fade faster than anything else: chlorine, strong detergents, and sunlight. Any of these alone will cause fading, but when all three are combined, your swimsuit has little chance of retaining its brilliant color. Both chlorine and sunlight can bleach fabrics, and strong detergents can break down color in fabrics, resulting in color loss over time. By following these steps, you can keep a bathing suit from fading, which in turn helps it last season after season.
