We have been fans of feather beds for a very long time. When we purchased our kingsize bed we also purchased a feather bed. we were very disappointed. It always seemed to need adjusting and fluffing. We purchased the Riglet Featherbed in hopes that it would hold it's shape and not go flat as the previous one does. We have not been disappointed. It holds it's shape with very little adjusting and fluffing, we put it over the old featherbed for additional softness. The feeling of the feather pockets were a bit odd at first but you quickly sink in for a good comfortable snooze. We are very pleased with our purchase.

I relied on the reviews in purchasing this featherbed, and I can't believe no one mentioned that it's crunchy! This is a very well-made product, however, it feels as though the filling is mostly quills, so it's crunchy when you squeeze it. Even my cat makes noise walking over it! I don't find it soft at all. It is generously stuffed with duck feathers, and it is very heavy.Relative to other products of the same type, this appears to be an extremely good value, because the cover has a high thread count, the filling is generous, and the ring stitching is effective in preventing the contents from shifting.As previous reviewers noted, the featherbed is slightly smaller than a queen mattress. I had good luck securing it to the bed by putting it underneath a mattress cover that accomodates thick mattresses.I made a mistake in thinking that a featherbed would be anything like a down comforter. The feathers that occasionally come out of my comforter are tiny and soft. The feathers in this featherbed must keep the Chinese ducks warm and dry, but they aren't something I want to sleep on. About 3 weeks after I bought this featherbed, my cat threw up on the bed and some of the liquid soaked through. I dragged it to the dry cleaner and realized that I had forgotten an important part of the value equation -- it would have cost a minimum of $45 to have them wash it (OK, I live in LA, where many things are expensive...). If it airs out, I'll be donating it to Goodwill, otherwise, it's going in the trash.Sometimes you get what you pay for. When I can afford it, I'll go for a product that is 95% down, not feathers.

So I have a cheapo memory foam mattress and I was not sleeping well. I added this featherbed and I must say, hands down, my bed is SO COMFY now! I'm no stranger to featherbeds - I've had many - and this is by far my favorite. I've had it for 3 weeks and only had to fluff it once. My mom stayed in my bed when she visited (I got the couch, lucky me) - she ordered one the next day! A very good quality and comfortable featherbed! (and it didn't even smell too bad like almost all do when you first open them)...

I just got it today...... so i havent slept on it yet..but we all laid on it (kids and all) and its very cozy......it's a little small not quite queen size but still great......the best part is it has no smell.........alot of times when you buy any down (we have tons) it has a funky smell when you first get it but this one doesn't.......now my son wants one so ill be ordering another today

I actually bought this for my guest room and my company always get a great nights sleep

This feather bed is AMAZING. I was iffy about purchasing it because I don't like to sleep all sunk down in something. However, this little number is the PERFECT amount of comfort and firmness. Its squishy but supports me when I sleep. Also, overstock was amazing when dealing with this because I didn't get my first one in the mail. I called and when I got off the phone, I had another on the way less than 24 hours later. The feathers don't poke through because I put a thin mattress cover and fitted sheet over top of it. Definitely a great buy for the money you spend.

I ordered this for use with an inflatable mattress to make it warmer. It works very very well for that - makes it feel like a real mattress. However, since for my needs I have to fold and store it, this wasn't ideal for me. It is VERY dense, so it doesn't compact at all, and it's very heavy and a bit difficult for me to deal with. I had expected something more like my down comforter, which is light and flexible and can be compacted into a box.

In my search to find something to make my matttress more comfortable, I thought I would give this a try, and wish that I wouldn't have, for me it was a waste of money,

The feather bed arrived on time and did not have any odor, puffed up nicely and I like it.

I would give this product a 4. I prefer the square design over the button design. It is comfortable and pretty quiet. It was odorless and fit perfectly on the matress. I am using it in a guest room.

We wanted something that we could sleep on comfortably without the nonsense. The feathers stay well put and we've gotten a cover for it Wish the fabric was a little more dense -- occasional feather poking but that's to be expected.

I've had this almost a month and the feathers move where they want. As a matter of fact, since I normally sleep in the middle it looks like a crater has hit. And yes, I fluff/adjust on a regular.

I'm loving my Feather bed I use to have very bad nights and didn't sleep well at all wake up and be in such pain all over mostly in the back and neck area. But now since I got this Feather bed my nights are just great I can sleep all night. I going to order two more to put on the guest bed and my son bed for when he come home from college.

Bought this featherbed, was very disappointed with the quality. the fabric was noisy and the dimensions were too small for a queen bed (even though it was queen sized). feathers were poking out of the fabric. not a good buy. i would recommend the 230 luxurious featherbed instead. I purchased it after i purchased this one and am very happy with it!

Great product for the price. Does require weekly fluffing. Have had a few feathers come out here and there. No smell. Very comfy.

This feather bed is just what I've been looking for. I used to suffer from hip pains that woke up in the middle of the night and I tossed and turned all night. Not a problem anymore, as long as I keep it fluffed every few days. Thanks Overstock for the great price and awesome product. I definately will be back to make more purchases.

I love this feather bed!!! Because of the construction the feathers do not shift!!!! No more lumps, no more bare spots, no more sheet popping off because of the weight from feathers shifting.I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

i purchased this featherbed in addition to buying my new mattress and it was a good deal, it is very heavr though and after a couple of weeks flip it over because it will loosed the comfiness if you dont ruffle the feathers..lol.. but after all i did only spend around 50 bucks wich was great.

I bought this product because I have some physical problems and was hoping this featherbed pillow top would provide comfort and it definitely does that. The only suggestion I have is that I would love for it to be a little thicker. But it is NOT thin by any means, this is just a personal preference for a super thick pillow top. One piece of advice, I find by turning it weekly, it stays fairly even as opposed to wearing on one side. It's made sleeping much more comfortable for me and I would not hesitate to recommend this item to family and friends.
