I've purchased a few things from Overstock, and I read through MANY reviews before deciding on purchasing anything, so I thought for sure with all these great reviews that this would be a good one! But... when I got the fiberbed and put it on, I had a few inches on every side of the mattress where it did not cover. That was the biggest problem (I have a king mattress, and ordered a king fiberbed). Unfortunately you can't order anything larger than a king to help compensate. The second issue I found was that it wasn't exactly "supportive" either because of how extremely fluffy it is. I was expecting a "cushy soft", but this was just "uncomfortable fluff". It may be hard to imagine fluffy being uncomfortable, but, this was. I had to add my review of this product because of all the other good reviews it got, and because I very much rely on the reviews people add. I love shopping Overstock, and even though this product was a disappointment for me, I will come back for more.

I just purchased this for a winter rental home that I am staying at where the bed is very hard. I actually own a real down mattress topper which I payed almost 100.00 for. Let me be the first to tell you THIS IS WAY BETTER THAN THE REAL THING. No lumps, no bumps, no feathers, no allergies AND SO BIG AND FLUFFY YOU CAN FALL INTO IT!!! This is the best, softest matress topper I have ever owned. I bought a King size to put on the Queen size bed here because my permanent residence has a King size. The matress topper seemed to fit the Queen just as well. You will need deep pocketed sheets for sure with this topper.

I ordered a queen size for our pillow top queen mattress. The topper fit perfectly - I am so glad I did not order the king. When taking it out of the box, I was anticipating a smell from reading other reviews, but mine did not have any odor. It came out of the box nicely, and really didn't need to be fluffed up. It did have a crinkle noise, and I thought, oh my, I don't think I could live with that. I placed under our fitted sheet in that night, and I noticed we only got the crinkle sound when we got in the bed, not with normal sleeping movement. My husband and I both love the fluffiness to our bed. I just hope that the polyster will not bunch in the baffle boxes in a month or two (like polyester filled pillows). After 5 days, I reshook the topper and it looks and feels great.

I need a softer bed and this helps. We have used memory foam but getting a back ache from those for some reason. I couldn't believe how thick and fluffy this was when I took it out of the box..wow! It does need to be fluffed up every week or when the sheets are changed and makes the bed look a little lumpy. It also doesn't quite fit my queen bed, but paired with higher thread count sheets, down comforter and down pillows..I almost have the perfect bed! I've slept with this for a week and no back aches or toss and turning. This is a good value, would have paid double this amount in local stores.

Fantastic value! Thought fabric might feel a little scratchy because of the low thread count, but it's actually quite soft to the touch. It has lots of loft which is what I was hoping for and made a very comfortable bed out of a mediocre mattress!

I bought this bed topper for my daughter and she absolutely loves it! I put it on her bed without her knowing it because I wanted to see how much of a difference it would make. When she woke up the next morning she said it was the best nights sleep she had had in long time. She slept more soundly and didn't keep waking up to turn over (her mattress is pretty firm). She absolutely loves it and has actually been in a better mood because she is sleeping better! Hum Maybe I should get one for my sons bed!?

I ordered this as a replacement for bedding purchased at more than twice the price from a linen store. Once I received it, I ordered more for the entire family. The quality is great, and the price can't be beat!

I've had this product now for a couple months and have really like it. I think its a great product for the price. I like the fact that the product is a down alternative so you don't have to worry about feather poking through the fabric. It doesn't have a cheap feel to it either. The only problem I have come across is that you do have to fluff the stuffing every couple days so it doesn't become so compact.

I have a convertible sofa bed thats way too firm. I purchased this to use for that reason. It is like sleeping on a cloud. For less than $50.00 you cant go wrong.. For someone on a budget ths is perfect.

absolutely love it!!! my mattress was too hard before I got this down alternative fiber bed as my husband can't sleep well when there is any kind of cushioning. well, now i can sleep well since this is a twin size fiber bed and makes it so that i never want to get out of bed in the morning. it is that fabulous!

I ordered one for our be for christmas and have ordered several more for my daughter, granddaughter and the last one to put in my camper they are great and really helps our family get a good night sleep.

This product is absolutely awesome. King fit is perfect, excellent workmanship, great HIGH loft that retains its volume and super comfortable. Not too hot, doesn't move around or bunch up underneath the fitted sheet and the fabric isn't noisy when moving around in bed. Actually every bit as good as the Heavenly Beds at the Westin Hotels and I'm very picky about my bedding. Super value and I highly recommend this item!

When I found this on-line I thought I had hit pay-dirt. I love featherbeds, but can't sleep on them because of allergies. I have been very happy with the alternative pillows, so thought this would be a great addition! I have been very disappointed in the product because it is very lumpy. Impressions are made exactly where you sleep and it is impossible to change them once they are made. I decided to wash mine to see if that would fluff it back up. But, it is so bulky, I couldn't possibly wash it at home and it took three days at the cleaners for them to wash and finally dry it. Overall, this was a great thought, but not worth the money spent. Oh well!v

when I received the product I expected it to be heavy and thicker ,but to me it feels and looks like a overstuffed bedspread. i have a futton for my quests and thought it would be a great addition for comfort so i was disappointed .

Very puffy and comfortable - great value if you are looking for something to really soften up your mattress. No cons really, except it will take awhile to get the puffiness down. Not recommended if you are the least bit claustrophobic, because this pad so fluffy when you first put it on the bed that my husband felt a bit like the walls were closing in! :)

My mom bought my husband and I this for Christmas and gave it to us early. She already has one and I loved hers. It is so comfortable. I sleep so much better. My husband likes a firm mattress and I do not, so I talked him into this and he loves it too!

I bought this fiber bed to replace a foam mattress topper. What I like about it: the fabric is nice, and the topper goes all the way to the edge of the mattress (my foam topper did not - it left a funny edge that looked bad when the bed was made and we essentially lost about 4 inches of our mattress width). It does seem to flatten in the center where we lay, of course, making it look like the mattress is a bit concave. However, this is my first fiber bed and maybe I just need to fluff it when the sheets are changed. As for comfort, it seems pretty good. I really can't tell that it is different from my foam topper, but gaining the extra inches and the smooth edges, makes it worth it to me.

This is a good product overall but it did loose its fluffines after a week.

I got two of the Down Alternative Fiber Beds for my kids. They love them!! It is a great product for those who have mattresses without much padding. It also is very warm for the Colorado nights!

like sleeping in the clouds! Would definitely buy again!
