Elementa Sateen Hi-loft 300 Thread Count Down Alternative Comforter

This one is very nice--we bought one for our bed. We do like it, and use it regularly. Nice and warm, nice quality material, well constructed. I actually thought it was great, untill we ordered the Oversize 230 Count Down Alternative Comforter for our daughter's bed.....that one was much better, and even a bit cheaper. We went back and ordered 3 more of the Oversize 230 Count Down Alternative Comforter, including one for our bed. The Oversize 230 Count Down Alternative is thicker, with more loft. This one is good--but that one is better. If that Oversize 230 Count Down Alternative Comforter is no longer available, I would say buy this one without hesitation--it really is good quality and a good deal for the price....but if you can still get it, the other one is better.

I live in a bedroom with no heating and no insulation. Don't ask, it's how its affordable to live in DC. Anyways, this blanket keeps me so warm. The quality is excellent, double stitching all around, and the color (sage green) is lovely. I spent a lot of time deciding between down and down alternative comforters, and I'm thrilled with my purchase. I'd definitely tell my friends to buy this comforter.

This is a nice down alternative comforter for the price. However, you may want to order a size up...I ordered a king size for my queen bed due to other reviews and experiences I have had with overstock sizing-otherwise a queen size would have been way too small for my queen bed. I expected the "high loft" to actually be higher loft like the picture but it lays pretty flat-So if you purchase this item don't expect it to be fluffy and poofy like the picture. I must say though that this comforter is very comfortable and keeps you very warm at night. There is no noise at all or smell like some have experienced. I do enjoy it and am happy with my purchase. Although I wish it was a more fluffy. if you purchase this comforter knowing the above facts you will be happy with your purchase. I gave it a overall 4 stars only because I expected it to be much fluffier and loftier than it is however, it is a good buy.

I purchased this comforter in need of something warmer than the one I was using. I enjoy being too warm over too cold so was looking for a pretty thick comforter and although the reviews for this comforter said it wasn't super thick, it was within my price point. The comforter is fluffy and soft enough in my opinion, but if you're looking for something over the top thick and "downy" feeling, you're going to need to look at more expensive comforters (like the Hotel Grand collection). I still sleep with a quilt on top of it, but the vent in my room is permanently shut so my room is always much colder than the rest of the house. Also like i said, I enjoy being overly warm when I sleep. Overall, i'd say for the price point and the quality it is a great purchase, it also a comforter you can use year-round because I think it is thin enough for summer, but thick enough for winter (however, note I am from the Bay Area, so our weather is very mild compared to other parts of the US).
