The description lists this as having a baffle-box design and gusseted edges. These are features that distinguish high-quality comforters from basic ones. They allow for more loft and thus more heat with few or no cold spots at the seams. I got mine yesterday, and it has NEITHER of these features. The decription is totally flawed, which is why I gave 1 star instead of 4. It is a nice comforter, trust me, but you are not getting what is in the description, just so you are aware.

This one is very nice--we bought one for our bed. We do like it, and use it regularly. Nice and warm, nice quality material, well constructed. I actually thought it was great, untill we ordered the Oversize 230 Count Down Alternative Comforter for our daughter's bed.....that one was much better, and even a bit cheaper. We went back and ordered 3 more of the Oversize 230 Count Down Alternative Comforter, including one for our bed. The Oversize 230 Count Down Alternative is thicker, with more loft. This one is good--but that one is better. If that Oversize 230 Count Down Alternative Comforter is no longer available, I would say buy this one without hesitation--it really is good quality and a good deal for the price....but if you can still get it, the other one is better.

I live in a bedroom with no heating and no insulation. Don't ask, it's how its affordable to live in DC. Anyways, this blanket keeps me so warm. The quality is excellent, double stitching all around, and the color (sage green) is lovely. I spent a lot of time deciding between down and down alternative comforters, and I'm thrilled with my purchase. I'd definitely tell my friends to buy this comforter.

This is a nice down alternative comforter for the price. However, you may want to order a size up...I ordered a king size for my queen bed due to other reviews and experiences I have had with overstock sizing-otherwise a queen size would have been way too small for my queen bed. I expected the "high loft" to actually be higher loft like the picture but it lays pretty flat-So if you purchase this item don't expect it to be fluffy and poofy like the picture. I must say though that this comforter is very comfortable and keeps you very warm at night. There is no noise at all or smell like some have experienced. I do enjoy it and am happy with my purchase. Although I wish it was a more fluffy. if you purchase this comforter knowing the above facts you will be happy with your purchase. I gave it a overall 4 stars only because I expected it to be much fluffier and loftier than it is however, it is a good buy.

I purchased this comforter in need of something warmer than the one I was using. I enjoy being too warm over too cold so was looking for a pretty thick comforter and although the reviews for this comforter said it wasn't super thick, it was within my price point. The comforter is fluffy and soft enough in my opinion, but if you're looking for something over the top thick and "downy" feeling, you're going to need to look at more expensive comforters (like the Hotel Grand collection). I still sleep with a quilt on top of it, but the vent in my room is permanently shut so my room is always much colder than the rest of the house. Also like i said, I enjoy being overly warm when I sleep. Overall, i'd say for the price point and the quality it is a great purchase, it also a comforter you can use year-round because I think it is thin enough for summer, but thick enough for winter (however, note I am from the Bay Area, so our weather is very mild compared to other parts of the US).

Finally a great cotton padded oversized navy blue comforter, the satin feels great to lay on. A high quality well made product. I wrote the review because, other comments sold me on the comforter, and I felt sure after reading the comments this was a high quality comforter, and it is just that! Money well spent! 5*****

This comforter is the bomb!!! We love, love, love it:)!! My sons (15, 11) are asking when they can get one. I think they will make great Christmas presents. This comforter is soft, fluffy and comfry!! Look forward to many great warm nights of sleep with this one:) !!!

The comforter has a wonderful feel, so much that I don't even feel the need to buy a duvet. I haven't had too many chilly nights here yet but thusfar it has kept me cozy without making me too hot, which can often be a problem for me with bedding that improperly holds in heat. I only wish I had bought the king-size. The full/queen comforter is much more suitable for a full-sized bed as it does not properly drape over my queen bed. Still fantastic and just make sure you get the appropriate size.

first time ordering from overstock and down alt. would not recommend if you want something light weight. was dissapointed with the comforter as soon as i put it on the bed. i was looking for something more like down. the comforters squares were a bit large for my taste and i didn't like the fill. materials are cotton, poly and fiber fill- did not not pay attention when ordering it. i ordered a king for a queen size bed and the size was just right. this would be a great comforter if you wanted something heavier and didn't mind the fill. returned this one and ordered the 700tc down alternative and got it today -i love it! feels much more like down. to me its worth the extra $.

This blanket has a wonderfully silky cover and it is very thick. It is not as light and fluffy as I expected but it is still very comfortable. Would recommend to someone who lives somewhere a little bit cooler or who just likes to have a warm blanket! (probably not ideal for year round use)

comforter sounds like it would be fairly warm, but out here in southern california it gets to 30 degrees at night and with a throw and this comforter its hard to stay warm. i would say that this comforter is a light comforter. calling it all season comforter would be pushing it. ive had this for less than a month, and the stitching is already coming out, which is disappointing. the comforter had a black stain on it when i first got it. not making much of this since im going to put a duvet on it, but still not a good sign right out of the box. the packing is terrible, its just put into one big clear plastic bag, and knotted. this is a good comforter for the summer, but if you have cold winters, find something with a greater fill count.

This comforter is definitely for cooler seasons or cooler climates. Not recommended in the summer.

I got the comforter is about 2 days, so it came reallly fast : ) The comforter is lovely, quite comfortable, warm, but not too warm. I am from South Carolina, and Im still able to use it in the summertime here. I got the king size for my queen sized bed, and it hangs over perfectly. Would recommend this product for sure! The only thing I can't comment on is how it washes... I havn't tried to wash it yet.

The comforter is a full/queen but should really be listed as a full. I feel it runs very small and barely covers the side of my pillow top mattress. Great material, great feel, great weight it just is not quite wide enough. I kept the comforter because I just didnt want to have the hassle of returning it.

This is an excellent purchase! The quality is better than expected. My daughter is a college student, is particular about the softness of her bedding, and has been using this comforter for over one year. This comforter is soft and durable. It also launders well, however, I did purchase several duvet covets to use with it so she doesn't have to stuff it in the machines quite as often. I would definately recommend this item, for the quality and the price you can't beat it.

bought this for my son for x-mas, it is so soft and fluffy, not too heavy but just right, and keeps him very warm, bought the duvet here to protect it and its supersoft too, thinking about buying the same one for me soon, highly recommended

Great quality. Very warm, but light. True to size. I ordered 3 and will be ordering another one. The only negative is that it takes up a lot of space trying to store it over the summer. Highly recommend.
