Would you consider the gray more of a silver color? I'm looking for a duvet set to go with the Madison Park Beldon comforter set, item #15728131. Tried a gray duvet cover in item #11408029, 650 TC, but this did not blend with comforter set. I need more of a silver or heather gray or dove gray in a duvet cover in a queen size.

Nice weight product, seems like quality cotton. I received a taupe color when I ordered the silver grey.Read More
As soon as I received them (grey, not too dark, not too light, just right) I threw them in the washer and dryer and put them on my bed. They're so soft and completely worth the money. The color did not fade after the first wash (warm wash/regular speed dry) The pillowcases in the set weren't a necessity for me, but I'm glad I made the decision to buy them.Read More
It seems kind of rough to the touch. I've only washed it once, maybe after a few more washes it will soften up. Quality is good and sturdy.Read More
I bought this for my toddler's bed and it has bee a great value for the money. Washes well and is very soft.Read More
This duvet was precisely what I wanted. It is ultra soft and pleasing to the touch. I would buy again!Read More
I am really happy with this purchase! I bought the duvet cover in the Grey color, and it's exactly as pictured. It has a nice subtle sheen. The fabric has a nice weight, but isn't too heavy - just as expected for 400 TC. It was as soft and smooth after washing as when I took it out of the package, and it retained its color without any fading (I followed the washing directions exactly). It's the perfect size for my oversized king down comforter. I love climbing into bed and covering up with this. Wish I could've bought the matching sheets, but unfortunately they don't come in the color I wanted. The only drawback I've found is that I washed it twice to get the smell of the manufacturing chemicals out (in our brand-new HE washer), and I could still smell them.Read More
This duvet cover is very soft; I haven't washed it yet, but I'm sure it will only get softer. It feels heavy and luxurious-- totally worth the price. My only complaint is that it isn't true to the size posted in the description. The full/queen is actually 90x92, which isn't a huge deal, but certainly something to be aware of!Read More
I don't know why others have complained about this duvet. I think it's just great. It's really soft, a lovely color (I got the taupe, which is more of a milk chocolate brown) and you seriously can't beat the price. I searched all over the web and this was the best price I found anywhere. I honestly was expecting something much rougher and lower quality for this price, so I was very pleasantly surprised to find that it was so soft and pretty. It has a very slight sheen to it, nothing too shiny. I would definitely buy this again.Read More
I purchased the burgundy in queen size for a puffy oversize down comforter and the fit was great. I received the duvet cover in the middle of a summer heat wave so I waited until the Southern California fog came back before trying it because it seemed so heavy. The Egyptian cotton cover is made in India and this is a plus as I've had good experiences with Indian textiles. The duvet cover has a dense weave, smooth glossy finish, a nice hand feel and it's done a very good job of keeping stray feathers inside. I haven't washed it yet so no news on wrinkling after drying or color fastness. The heavy weight makes it a little awkward to get the comforter inside but stays where you want it.Read More
I purchased the navy blue king duvet. It fits perfectly on my oversized king down comforter. The color is a very dark navy. I wasn't sure what to expect from the sateen finish, but once it was washed I couldn't tell it was there. It is not shiny or slippery. The duvet is very good quality. My only complaint is the chemical smell. I washed it twice before using it, and the smell was still strong enough to bother my asthma while I slept. I've had it on my bed for several weeks now, and the odor is still lingering.Read More

Bed Sheet Thread Count Fact Sheet
The thread count of bed sheets refers to the number of threads per square inch of fabric. For example, if a square inch of fabric in a 300-thread count sheet with a standard weave were examined closely, 150 vertical threads and 150 horizontal threads would be counted, for a sum total of 300. The higher the thread count, the softer and smoother the sheets will be. Thread count is an important consideration to take when choosing a new set of sheets, but it should not be used as a sole indicator of quality. Equally important in choosing a bed sheet is the type and quality of the materials used as well as the fabric's weave.
Best Duvet Covers for Each Season
For those who use duvet blankets year-round, duvet covers allow you to change patterns and color to match every season. Along with the decor of the bedroom, a duvet cover may enhance the ambiance of the entire room or supply it with rich colors and textures for the ultimate comfort factor. If you purchased an expensive duvet, covering it throughout the year will keep it in good shape and allow you to wash it without compromising the batting. Look below to learn the best duvet covers for each season. Spring: Once the evenings start warming up, lighter fabrics like satin provide sheen and style to any bedroom. Satin duvet covers are most often comprised of fabrics like nylon, rayon or silk to provide durability as well as comfort. For spring, lighter colors, including pastels or variations of cream and beige, brighten the room. Summer: During warm summer nights, cotton duvets are one of the most common fabric choices. Light and airy, cotton is also easy to clean and comes in virtually every color and pattern. For the summer season, try a white duvet cover, which will make the room appear more open and spacious. A cotton blend that contains polyester is also an ideal choice for summer, because it is soft, requires simple washing and does not wrinkle. Fall: For the fall season, a duvet cover that is warm enough for intermittent chilly nights is an ideal choice. Microsuede duvet covers offer a soft feel to bedding and come in a variety of colors. This material is easy to care for and machine washable. For fall, choose earthy colors like beige, brown, dark green or burgundy for a seasonal look. Winter: A luxurious duvet cover is a favorite option for warmth during the winter months. Velvet is a soft fabric that comes in a variety of rich colors and provides plenty of insulation for cold nights. The luxurious texture looks good in any style of room decor. For winter months, choose deep, rich colors like burgundy, plum, forest green or chocolate to enhance the room. View All Duvet Covers Back to Guides Directory View All Duvet Covers
