Love the midnight blue DEEP pocket sheets. Color is so pretty but most important they are deep pocket sheets. I washed them and I have to admit that they were not as soft as when I took them out of the package. However the more use they received the softer they become. Will order more....thanks O.Read More
For a 300 count fabric, these sheets are great. The fitted sheet has a very strong, 1", elastic band that really makes the sheet fit nice on a 16" deep mattress. After two washings the elastic is still as good as it was out of the package. I only gave them a 4 Star rating because of the non-perma-press appearance. They do come out of the dryer, on medium or low heat, very wrinkled. If you want to show these sheets off, they will need ironing. Mine are covered by blanket and comforter, so they go right on the bed, no ironing. A great buy, wish there were more available colors in queen.Read More
These sheets fit my 21" deep mattress perfectly. The way the elastic is made is much better than other sheets I have tried. There is no slippage on the corners and they are very soft. I plan on purchasing another set.Read More
The blue was a little lighter than we expected but we actually liked that color better. Washed them once and like the feel/quality at this point.Read More
I absolutely love these sheets, they are deep pocket for those who find 20 inch too little, these are perfect with some extra room. They are very soft and the pillow cases are nice and roomy, not tight so that you have to fight to get a pillow inside them. So having said all that I ordered another set!!Read More
I love the deep purple color of the sheet set I purchased. The long pockets on the fitted sheet are very deep and hold the sheet in place very well. The Egyptian cotton is very soft and I am definitely happy with my new sheets!Read More
The sheets look and feel nice. I love the royal purple color that I ordered. Color is just as beautiful after being washed. The fitted sheet definitely has deep pockets, almost too deep for our pillowtop mattress, but fits ok with room to spare. The pillowcases were also actually huge too, almost too big. You could probably fit a body pillow in each king size pillow case. You have to tuck the excess in on the pillowcases.Read More
Going to bed is one of the best parts of your day, so you really want your sheets to feel like heaven! These do NOT! After the first wash, they were extremely wrinkled, the sheen was gone and they feel scratchy when you lay on them. I can only assume in time they will get worse. I have washed them 3 times and each time they seem worse for the wear. Not to mention, you can't slip your pillow inside the case, you have to maneuver them in just right. I read all the reviews before purchasing these, and hoped all the positive comments were right on and the negatives just Gloomy Guss's. Guess I am one of the Gloomy Ones now... but before you buy these, read up on other negative ones. If you decide to purchase, I only wish you better luck than I has - maybe I just got a bad one.Read More
I was shocked when I opened the package to these sheets. They have a large elastic band all the way around the whole fitted sheet! We need very deep pocket sheets and most come with a small / thin elastic band. These though had about a 2 inch band all the way around. Highly rec.Read More

FAQs about Sateen Sheets
Sateen sheets are high-quality sheets woven in the same way as traditional satin. Unlike satin, sateen sheets are made with more common fibers, such as cotton. Sateen sheets are soft to the touch and allow skin to slide smoothly into bed. Sateen sheets are available in very high thread counts, and as such, are quite durable. Take a look below for some of the most frequently asked questions about sateen sheets.
Bed Sheet Thread Count Fact Sheet
The thread count of bed sheets refers to the number of threads per square inch of fabric. For example, if a square inch of fabric in a 300-thread count sheet with a standard weave were examined closely, 150 vertical threads and 150 horizontal threads would be counted, for a sum total of 300. The higher the thread count, the softer and smoother the sheets will be. Thread count is an important consideration to take when choosing a new set of sheets, but it should not be used as a sole indicator of quality. Equally important in choosing a bed sheet is the type and quality of the materials used as well as the fabric's weave.
Egyptian Cotton Sheets vs Sateen Sheets
Deciding which type of luxury sheets to purchase is easier when you have the facts. Sateen sheets feel soft when new and have sheen to them, while Egyptian cotton sheets soften over time with use. Both are made from cotton and have much to offer, making the choice one of budget and personal taste.
