Geez - these sheets are so poor quality I was shocked. There are all kinds of stitching puckers and mistakes. The cases are sewn together with a serger that was just run to the raw edges of the case. No nicely finished edges or turned down cuffs. They are just super cheap low quality sheets. The fabric is rather thin and feels as if there is poly in it... I do not believe they are *** cotton. The color is very pretty. At the original price of these sheets I was expecting nice craftsmanship but instead they look like something you would by at **** : (
I have had these sheets for almost 6 months now. I have washed them at least 10 times with the hope that they would become softer. Unfortunately, they have not. They are NOT scratchy. The best way I can describe them is that they feel like super glossy paper. There is just no comfort factor to them. Also, they are very slippery. The top sheet slips off the fitted sheet, and the comforter slips off the top sheet. They are a little too oversized as well. I have a cal-king and these seem like they would fit a king size bed, so when on the bed the fitted sheet is always wrinkled. I will say that the quality has not changed over the 10 washes. No pilling or color fading, they are very well made. I purchased the aqua color and it is a beautiful color, a light pastel aqua. They just have such a strange feel to them!
I bought these sheets back in 2008, two sets, and they were AMAZING. So soft, and the more I washed them, the softer they got! I rotated the same two pair for the last six years, and sadly, they have started to get thin with holes and coming apart in places. They probably should have lasted longer, but I figured for the price, six years was pretty good! I came over and bought another set to replace the ones falling apart - AND THEY ARE NOT THE SAME! These are not soft AT ALL. I waited for several washings before writing this review to see if they would begin to soften as they were washed, but they are so CRINKLY, they actually make noise when you turn over at night! Very, very, VERY disappointing, especially since I paid about *** more than what I paid in 2008.
I love the eggplant color, it's very true to the image shown online (at least according to my monitor). In response to other reviews, because these are 600 thread count, they are thicker and not instantly soft, and yes, they are "loud". However, after a few washings in warm water they softened right up and are no longer noisy. I had to laugh when I first put used them because they were "loud" but it's more of a crisp sheet sound and reminds me of being in a quality hotel. I have used them for a few months now and I absolutely love them. I am very pleased with them and would order another set without hesitation.
I love Egyptian cotten sateen sheets because they're SOFT. I don't know if anyone can use the words and they don't have to have any real meaning but these sheets are NOT SOFT AT ALL. Compared to my other sheets Wamsutta Deam Zone, these are like sleeping on sandpaper. SOOOO DISAPPOINTED!!!
These are a beautiful plum color. They came out of the dryer wrinkled, but that's okay with me. There are a lot worse things than wrinkled sheets. I folded them and they feel soft. I haven't put them on the bed yet but feel they will be fine.
I got these in Jan 2013.used very little in guest bedroom and they already have a hole in them. cheap sheets last longer than These and they're not even soft.. The sheets are too big for full size bed which has deep sides. Color is not as shown. Overall a bad purchase.
I bought a second set of these sheets because the first set was very nice. I was especially pleased at how well they fit the mattress: not a lot of pulling and tugging. Later, however, I discovered a spot in the first set that was missing cross threads in the weave that mean it will wear out more quickly. I am not even dissatisfied with that because otherwise they are altogether lovely.
