Egyptian Cotton Sateen 300 Thread Count Duvet Cover Set

I buy low thread count sheets because the higher thread counts can get very hot. I have purchased many 300 count sateen sheets in the past and these are by FAR the most scratchy and rough sheets ever! These are not soft! They feel like you could get a rug burn from sleeping under them. The color is very pretty, but not worth the harsh feel. DO NOT BUY unless you don't mind sleeping in rough/harsh sheets

I have bought a lot of sheets from overstock over the past few years and this is the first time I have been disappointed. These sheets are very scratchy and make me itch. The color is great and they seem to be very colorfast after a few washings, trying to soften them up, but they are not soft AT ALL!!

I bought the set to have a cover to fit my duvet. Long story short: it's just fine. It's nothing special, but definitely gets the job done. It's not the softest fabric by any means, and I will be giving the sheets to Good Will or someone who can use them. But, it's pretty enough and fine for my purposes.

I frequently buy bedding from overstock and these sheets are the poorest quality I have purchased anywhere, not just online. I purchased it because both the sheets and duvet cover are included. First of all, only the duvet cover and matching shams are the striped pattern you see in the pictures. The sheets and pillowcases are solid. The sheets started pilling within 2 weeks and it has only gotten worse over the last 2 months. The sheets also shrunk a ton after the first wash, which was okay as they were way too large even for a pillowtop mattress. While they come out of the dryer shrunken, one night of sleeping on them stretches them all out of shape and I'm always tucking and pulling on the fitted sheet so we aren't laying on bunched up sheets every night. Save your money and buy higher quality sheets!
