Very nice sheets- pure luxury. I ordered these and the 1500 count- for the extra 50 bucks I would go with the 1500 count, but for xxxx bucks these are fantastic. I have no idea what people are talking about with the complaint of sheets to heavy, I love them ! And who in their right mind would iron sheets??
These sheets really last a long time. I've had 2 sets for approximately 8-10 years. At first after washing the sheets aren't as soft as they become after several washings. I know from experience with my other sheets that they will become so very soft and comfortable! Love the quality and thickness of this material. Even thought they are not as soft as they will become, the sheets are still so very warm and comfortable at first use!
Like all high thread count sheets these are a bit heavy and rough coming out of the dryer the first few times. They will last for years and just get better and better with age. They do wrinkle but once on the bed they are fine, and this is common with this type of sheet. Not the first set I've bought, and won't be the last from Overstock. Spending more for the higher thread count is a money saver in the long run as they last for years and years. Try them, you won't be sorry.
I do NOT understand why people say these sheets feel like canvas. These sheets are so soft! They have a real luxurious feel to them. You can tell they are of very good quality. I previously bought 1,000 thread-count sheets that did feel like canvas. Those sheets are now getting nice and soft but they are 5 years old. For these new sheets, they are heavy in that there is such a high thread count but they are NOT heavy for 1,200 thread count sheets. I hope that makes sense. I was so thrilled when I saw how nice they are. I highly recommend these.
This is my 3rd purchase of these sheets, and this one was sent as a gift. The recipent was super surprised and simply loves them. They are thick and exceptional at keeping you either warm or cool depending on season. It's a luxury item, a luruxy feel. Treat yourself as royalty - BUY THESE SHEETS!
these sheets are amazing very thick and made very well. i was skeptical about the buy and i even received the wrong color. overstocks cs dept handled it very well they sent me a new set with a return lable so i could send the old ones back with no issues. awsome buy and great product.
These sheets are the BEST that I own. Even though they are heavy, they are not at all hot. They remind me of sheets used in luxury hotels/resorts. I've washed and dried them 3 times (warm water/medium heat) with absolutely no shrinkage. I'm not bothered at all by the fact that the sheets are wrinkled when removed from the dryer; after all, any sheet becomes wrinkled once it's slept on! Even my husband, who never pays attention to the quality of our sheets, loves these. I definitely will buy another set (maybe 2)!

I buy all of my sheets from Overstock.com because you get quality for the price. These sheets like all high thread count sheets are thick. If you're not used to that, it can be a little disconcerting. But after you get used to the feeling, it's luxurious and is better than what you see in even the finest hotels. They get softer the more you wash them and because they have a high thread count, the can stand up to many washings and still be substantial.
My sister had purchased the 1600 ct set and I fell in love with them! Not wanting to 'shock' my husband with the heavier sheets, I purchased the 1200ct for starters! I'm glad I did. Though not as heavy as the 1600, these are perfect! After a few washings, they've maintained their weight and are super soft. I'll definitely be sending all my old sheets to the thrift shop an purchasing more of the heavier sheets.
I would rate these as three generation sheets because they could be around for your grandchildren to use. They are thick and heavy but much softer than canvas. I use softener and dry the top and bottom sheets separately in order to have fewer wrinkles. Because I like an inviting looking bed, I iron the pillow cases and the top edge of the top sheet. They lose the wrinkles easily. I'm not sure the bottom sheet would fit the maximum depth claimed. My mattress is 14" deep and the bottom sheet barely fits it.
These sheets so far are wonderful; no pilling or loose threads. They have been washed three times and still have the feeling of 1200tc. Had just about given up on finding a set that had this nice crisp heavy feel to them. I iron my top sheet so the wrinkles don't bother me. The sheets will get softer as time goes on and I couldn't be more pleased than I am with the quality.
