Not Worth the Money
I am very disappointed in these sheets. I ordered a King set and after washing them the fitted sheet just fits the bed. The feel is not sateen, not even close, it was like sleeping on paper!

Sheets unusable after less than a month
We were very pleased when we first got these sheets; they were thick and luxurious and everything we were hoping for to replace our last set that had served us well for so many years. They started to pill after the third washing and are now almost completely useless. The pilling makes the sheets very uncomfortable. Don't waste your time or money on these sheets.

Mediocre cotton
When I think of 1000 count sheeting, I think of fine yarn, smooth and silky like sateen or other fine cloth. The sheets are 100 % cotton and they are comfortable, yet not what I want in this count. The yarns are thick after washing so they might not be plied yarns, which are much smoother. The hems are unraveling a bit after 7 or 8 washings. The pillow cases in particular are showing loose threads from seams. All that said, the price for each set containing 2 sets is quite reasonable. .They'll work fine for the winter!

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Being in textiles, the quality of the yarns used is not the smooth texture I want in a 1000 count cloth. The yarns, when washed become heavy. It's not unpleasant but it's not high quality cotton.

Not very soft!
Sheets are stiff and not very soft for a 1000 thread count sheet. I have lower thread count sheets that are softer than these sheets!

I bought these sheets having never bought anything online and I must say they are fabulous! They are incredibly soft, heavier fabric although they still have a very nice luxurious feel to them. I washed them immediately and put them on the bed ....my husband said they were the nicest sheets he has ever seen, after having an experience with high thread count that pilled, these are very nice and would absolutely buy more..I bought the White ones because I was looking for a sheet to match with several colors and they are beautiful!! Thanks OS.. LOVE THEM!!

Scratchy
The sheets are definitely scratchy, I'm not sure how other folks had more positive experiences with soft sheets. Perhaps i should have taken another reviewer's advice and used fabric softener with the first wash. I've used softener during subsequent washes and it's helped a little bit, but not enough. I've had plenty of high count sheets and the scratchiness is not the same as stiffness that softens with time.

Some Loss Of Shape
I am very pleased with the feel of these sheets and the way they are wearing. I wash them weekly and they are holding up very well. My only complaint is that the fitted sheet does not fit my extra deep mattress very well. I have a double pillow top (both top and bottom) mattress and I have to really pull the sheet to fit it. Even with the severe 'tugging' I am doing to these sheets I have not noticed any threads breaking or any rips from making them fit. The weight of the sheet is almost blanket like as it is really nice and heavy. My husband is always commenting on how nice and thick they are. Overall, I am pleased with this purchase and would recommend this set to everyone.
