Egyptian Cotton Percale 450 Thread Count Extra Deep Pocket Sheet Set

I LOVE the feel of these sheets. Crisp, yet soft enough for our skin not to be irritated and easy to put on the mattress. The material is very fine, finer than I expected - hope that it will wear long but won't know since we just got them.

I've been looking for sheets like this for a long time. I have one pillow case left of my Grandmother's sheets, and have finally found a good replacement. They're not as thick as her's were, but they're as soft & cool. I've only had them about a month, but they're good sheets. I've always paid top dollar, but most are still sateens which I have found ball up (even when wash/dried cool). You'll probably want to wash them twice before using. THESE SHEET ARE DEFINATELY FOR THE HOT SLEEPERS. They maintain their coolness, which I love. Blessings to you for a peaceful sleep!

Overall, I am very pleased with these sheets. They are crisp and cool and rustle when you get into bed (I love that). The pocket on the fitted sheet is extra deep, so even with a 16" mattress, you can't get a very tight fit. While they're still fairly new (only three washings so far), there is a wrinkle factor with the pillowcases, but that will work out over time. The only real objection I have to these sheets is that they have been in the package for a long time, and there is some yellowing in places from that. The yellowing comes out more with each washing, so that's probably another matter that will work out over time. However, I can't stress enough the pleasure of climbing into a bed made with these sheets: it's cool, smooth, and crisp...my favorite kind of sheet.

I became a "sheet snob" just a few years ago. I have paid $$$$ for one queen top sheet in Egyptian cotton percale, 406 tc.. I cannot believe the deal on these! Let me tell you about the sheets and how wonderful they are... These are the highest thread count I have ever found in a 100% cotton single thread Egyptian Percale (500 and above, you're getting sateen, which I despise). What does this mean? High quality. These will get softer with every washing. They have a nice hand, are crisp. and are great if you run hot at night. They will last many, many years with proper care and will never pill. They wrinkle, of course. I don't care. The comfort of these delicious sheets is what's important to me. I like my bottom sheet snug, and the 22" fitted sheet is still too deep for my pillow top bed. So I kept the top sheet and pillowcases, and am gifting the bottom sheet to my favorite sister. It'll be a great fit for her platform (single overly thick mattress) bed. She has no idea of what she has been missing out on all these years! I wish Overstock would get more in. Beige was my only option but I would love it in white! Less dye=even softer threads.
