The sheets are a nice fabric but the color was not as it was online and returned them as they did not match. If they would have been the right color, I would have kept them.Read More
These are FANTASTIC! I wasn't sure what to expect (hope for the best prepare for the worst) when I ordered these since we usually go to BB&B for our over priced sheets (haha) but when I saw these priced as they were with a 500TC I figured might as well try....we loved them! Solid/strong construction, you can tell these will definitely last a good minute! AND they fit our deep mattress which is AWESOME!!! I'm actually shopping for two more sets right now!! Would definitely recommend to anyone.Read More
The quality of these sheets is excellent and they don't wrinkle out of the dryer. I've paid much more for sheets not nearly as good as these. Will probably get another set.Read More
these were not the quality I expected...also were not "king size"..they barely fit the mattress....by not fitting on the mattress correctly they will not stay in place properly.Read More
These sheets are well made. I really like the color. They match well with the room.Read More
We had ordered these sheets just this past December and as others have stated, within the first 2 months, the fitted sheet had ripped from near one of the corners. I sewed up the 10" rip and once again, it is ripping on the other side near one of the corners. I wouldn't recommend these sheets to anyone.Read More
i got this set today, and could not wait to open it. It felt really good and looked great however when i started to put the last corner on it split in the middle, i do mad now i cant hardly stand it, if i had not already put it in the dryer as i do all new things i buy and no had it on the bed i would had boxed it right up and sent it back but OS has a practice of not wanting to give you money back they want you to buy something else and give creditRead More
These sheets are very thin, they fit terrific and look nice but the material is thin and I"m afraid they are going to wear out quickly. The chocolate color is VERY deep and rich, looks beautiful. The material has a bit of a sheen and they feel very smooth. Hopefully they wear better than how they feel like they are going to wear... definitely seem sort of cheap considering the price.Read More
This is the first sheet set that actually fits my bed. The product guide says these are cotton sateen but I am not 100% sure of that. I have 2 other sets that have a much smoother cool feel (but they are 600tc). With that being said they were still soft enough to sleep on after the first washing. I will be interested to see how they hold up after multiple washings. I have tried many sets of deep and extra deep pocket sheets and none of them have fit. I am really happy to find this set especially in chocolate! Thanks Overstock.Read More
I bought two sets, and both ripped on my king size bed. Overstock would not replace them, or issue a credit, or anything, claiming the return period had passed. I am now going to buy my sheets somewhere that will stand behind their quality. Sheets are expensive, and should last more than 6 months without ripping. These are now the sheets my kids use to build their forts:) Buy your sheets from another place. Trust me, the little bit of extra money you will pay will be worth it so you won't have to be repurchasing new sheets a few months later.Read More

Bed Sheet Thread Count Fact Sheet
The thread count of bed sheets refers to the number of threads per square inch of fabric. For example, if a square inch of fabric in a 300-thread count sheet with a standard weave were examined closely, 150 vertical threads and 150 horizontal threads would be counted, for a sum total of 300. The higher the thread count, the softer and smoother the sheets will be. Thread count is an important consideration to take when choosing a new set of sheets, but it should not be used as a sole indicator of quality. Equally important in choosing a bed sheet is the type and quality of the materials used as well as the fabric's weave.
FAQs about Sateen Sheets
Sateen sheets are high-quality sheets woven in the same way as traditional satin. Unlike satin, sateen sheets are made with more common fibers, such as cotton. Sateen sheets are soft to the touch and allow skin to slide smoothly into bed. Sateen sheets are available in very high thread counts, and as such, are quite durable. Take a look below for some of the most frequently asked questions about sateen sheets.
