I was a litle leery purchasing a duvet cover I could not see in person first but I took the chance and I am so glad that I did! We love the duvet cover. We got it in the black. It is very soft and fits in smashingly with our decor. It also does not gather alot of lint which is a plus! I would definately recommend this product to anyone who is looking to purchase a duvet cover.

I have bought or sold just about every duvet on here. I couldn't believe how heavy the fabric is on this. I believe it weighs almost 7 lbs. Very sturdy and excellent if your looking for additional warmth. You can even use this as a bedspread it is so substantial. Please remember 2 things when it comes to bedding. No matter how pretty you think your Down comforter is by itself~ Never keep it on your bed without a Duvet. While sleeping we sweat & shed cosmetics, hair, mucous etc. Down is super absorbent. If you don't cover it with a duvet it will pick up all the before-mentioned. At that point you could get a mold problem, without even being aware of it. Not trying to be gross, just factual... 2ND When you do laundry, do not combine loads. You may think it's easier or 'Green'. When you combine different fabrics this is how you easily get pills, those little fuzzballs. When 2 different fabrics rub against each other in the wash it breaks/wears the fibers down faster, promoting piling. Even worse is drying them together. I love fine bed linens, have learned to care for them properly by trial and error over the years. I never dry them in a dryer even if it is 'easier' They'll last 3-4 times as long by hanging to dry. Best case scenario, outdoors in the sunshine but not necessary. A clothes rack or line indoors does fine. If you stretch items nice and tight, they don't wrinkle as much. Enjoy!

This is a very comfortable cover set! It's easy to put the duvet inside, and its lightweight yet warm. The buttons are fairly big, but when the duvet is on the bed you can't see them. I would order this again!

i have never bought a duvet before, and to be honest this is my first attempt with a down comforter too. so the day i started shopping online, i read tons of reviews. i settled on this one because of the awesome reviews it has received. the only bad thing i can say is that i thought it had the dobby stripe, its not its a thin pin stripe with a thick sateen stripe soooo my sheets and duvet did not match. i just returned the sheets and am shopping for more. my down comforter stays inside this duvet perfectly. no movement at all. it is rather heavy though which adds even more warmth to my already very warm comforter. my husband loves the comforter and duvet set we purchased-he loves the weight. it feels like we are sleeping in a cloud really. it is soooo different from the cheap bed-in-a-bag we are used to sleeping with. i ordered the queen in blue and it fits totally true to size and the color is GORGEOUS! a very pretty deep sky blue. and about the fit-my down comforter is an oversized one and this duvet still fits it perfectly. again, this was my first time buying and i dont think i could have done better in color nor quality! i just wished it was the dobby stripe.

This is my very first duvet cover purchase & I must say that it did not disappoint me one bit! It looks great with the decor of my bedroom which is a must for me, but it is also very soft which is why I choose the threadcount! I plan to buy another in a different color!

I just washed this and put it on my down comforter and it's amazing! I bought a set of sheets at the same time of a similar thread count, but the duvet and shams are really nice...They're kind of stiff when wet and then fabulous when dry!

I bought the sheets and duvet cover, and am enjoying the luxury and elegance of this beautiful set. the stripes are wonderful - subtle, but add a touch of design - and the color is vibrant. The 800 count is just right , having purchased 1000 count sheets which are a bit too stiff. We are very, very happy with this purchase.

I got this duvet cover in the burgundy. It's a gorgeous shade of red and the lines in the fabric are beautiful. Highly recommended!

I have had a number of duvet covers and have to say that this is the best one I've purchased. The fabric is such good quality and the construction is outstanding. It arrived yesterday (great, fast shipping) and I put it in the washer/dryer and on the comforter it went. Last night, it was like sleeping in a luxury spa with this fantastic duvet cover. It is substantial but OH SO SOFT. The only problem I had, and the reason I gave it four stars, is mostly my own fault. I should have read the old reviews more carefully, as the sage color is not a real sage, but more like a light green. The picture shows it as a bronze-y sage color, but this is really a pastel. The color in the photo would have matched my decor better, but this color does work...and since everything else is outstanding, I am keeping it. I have not seen any other criticisms on color other than the sage, so this is not a big deal if you are going to get any other color.This is an EXCELLENT duvet cover and is such high quality that I think it should last a long time. It is definitely a favorite and...well...I love it!!

The quality is good, but it looks like an oversized sheet on top of the bed. I really have sheets that look like this. The picture shown looks like a sheet as well, my bad.

This duvet is of a very dense cloth, I expected finely woven but not the weight. This cover is so heavy that my down comforter is compressed and sleeping under it voids the reason I have down - that is, a very light cover. Also, ironing is required. I have washed and dried this cover twice in oversize commercial machines and it is still stiff as a board and wrinkled. Use this cover only if you like some weight and use a non-down comforter. It's color is attractive, it has excellent construction and the cloth is quality but the heaviness, for me, outweighs these positive points. After 2 weeks of use it is off my bed never to return. I would advise a friend to purchase if they want a heavy, long wearing cover.

I absolutely love my new duvet cover which I purchased in ivory. It is excellent quality and is like sleeping under a cloud. I also purchased one of your down comforters which is fabulous inside this great duvet. Thank you overstock.

New to duvets/comforters, I probably obsessed just a little doing my research, but I like to be confident & informed in my decisions - and I am SO pleased with this result. I got the GOLD and while it's not quite as bright as in the image, it's definitely not tan! Mine doesn't have the contrasting band as in the image, but I don't mind. I got the KING SIZE and it's perfect for my King/Cal King comforter. The pattern is very smart looking, the fabric sturdy, and I think the perfect weight - substantial, but it just feels like quality. Button closures took some concentrated effort - but I know they won't come easily undone. Easy enough to wash & dry at home; it's not soft fabric (so far), and it is a bear to iron. I took my time & ironed it only to "much better" - not "perfect". Will probably have it laundered next time...a labor of love the first time only. :)

The duvet cover is of very high quality both in appearance and functionality.

With the duvet I also bought the down alternative to slip inside and I must say its like covering up with a cloud. My problems were that I got the ivory and it looks like it has a yellowish tint so maybe darker colors are better and it was not easy getting the insert inside I dread when it needs to be washed but I am glad I got it and would recommend it.

I bought the gold color, and it is more of a yellow. My bedroom is gold and deep red and it looks totally out of place. I am extremely disapointed with this product! And the thread count doesn't seem as if it was 800 thread count. It also shrunk when I washed it in cold water!!!
