I previously purchased for the first time, the1000 tc solid sateen, *I have a review about those on the product page under 5 stars* So, since I liked them so much, I thought I'd try these. I'm sooo glad I did. I like them even MORE than the 1000 sateen ones.These get softer after each wash, and although some ppl don't like them for summer, I sure do. They feel like real silk, only better. They don't have the "slimy" feel of silk sheets, but rather a luxurious softly silken feel. I PROMISE you will NOT be disappointed with these sheets.I'm saving now to buy another pair. I HATE to get out of bed when these sheets are on... I never slept naked until I bought these. I know, that maybe tmi, but wanted you to get the real deal about how great these are. You'll want to feel this material over your whole body.

We have ordered many sheets though this site and others and are always looking for sheets with good reviews. The other reviews said that the sheets do not pill and are very soft. I would agree. You can tell for yourself as soon as you open the package. The sheets are pretty heavy are require extra time in the dryer but I am not complaining. The sheets are very smooth and soft. Love how they are a bit oversized as well to fit a pillow top mattress. I will be ordering more in the future.

poor quality. Bought this in August and after only 6 months, the sheet is ripped!!! this never happenned to me before.

These sheets are wonderful. When they arrived I just wanted to wrap myself up in them. Put them on the bed and slept soundly. I would definitely recommend them! I just bought a second set.

Wow. Great quality. These sheets feel like satin, but sleep like cotton. Because of the tighter weave I'd recommend washing them a couple times before using--and then use fabric softener. They wrinkle up pretty bad at first. But oh, my, I've never had sheets that were this luxurious at such an awesome price. I look forward to going to bed just to snuggle down in my heavenly sheets.

Maybe I didn't look hard enough, but I did not see anyone mention the size of the top sheet on this set. Enough about their softness, no one mentioned that the top sheet is at least 5 inches narrower than sheets I've had in the past. It's not a HUGE deal, but if you sleep with someone that is a sheet stealer, beware! The top sheet is so narrow that I cannot even tuck it in on the sides. Other than that, they're good.

not overly comfortable, just solid thicker sheets, a little hard to get the wrinkles out, and not as soft as the picture would have you believe but till good sheets for the value, they wash well, and fell great.

Usually the higher the thread count the softer the sheet. These sheets aren't exactly rough, but I can't say that they are soft, because they are so stiff. They are comfortable to sleep on, but I only use them in the winter. The stiffness of them makes them heavy, so they are too hot for summer and just right for winter. I really like them, but if you're looking for soft, light-weight sheets, you won't like these. I even like sheets with some heft to them...these have a great deal of "heft!!"

Purchased these sheets on January 7, 2011. Very soft and heavy sheets, but not really warm. They tore down the middle after about 4 months of use. Poor overall quality sheets.

I hate these sheets. I have ordered from Overstock like 30 times and this is the first time I've purchased something I totally regret buying. I didn't open the sheets until it was too late to return them. Overstock was nice enough to say they would accept a return as long as the sheets remained unopened. Because of my past experience with the other linens I purchased from Overstock, I decided to wash the sheets a few times and see if they got better. Unfortunately they didn't. They are so awful, I won't even use them in my guestroom. They are going to the Goodwill store. I like satiny, soft sheets. These are not only the worst sheets I've bought from Overstock, they are the worst sheets I have ever purchased, period. I know it totally depends on your taste but for me and my husband, neither of us likes them.

First, let me say that I know what I'm talking about regarding sheets. I've slept on sheets priced from $50 to $1,000 for fine cotton sheets. I was looking for soft sateen cotton sheets that were reasonably priced so I tried these. I ordered the gray sheets and found them to be light, silky and soft - they get 4 stars. I liked them so much I ordered a set of the white ones. The white were horrible. Heavy, not soft, not fine cotton at all - they were junk good for covering an old car in your garage, or perhaps as painting drop cloths This could explain the mixed reviews of these sheets..

These sheets are a great quality and value. I have high standards for my sheets and a small budget. This is a splurge for me that has been soooo worth it! I am so satisfied that I just ordered a second set, hopefully they will get here soon.

We love these sheets. They are thick, soft and have deep well fitting pockets. The top sheet is well sized and stays tucked in. Great purchase. Have bought more expensive sheets, but these surpass those in fit and quality!

These sheets were wonderful and luxurious at first but they did not last long. They became thread bare in spots (after a year and a half)and began to split in several places. The seams of the pillow cases are equally ratty and are coming apart. I bought 2 other sheet sets (of other brands) at Overstock and all three are rotated equally. The other two are fine. IHow disappointing!

These sheets were very thick, as expected. They were great for winter. However, over the course of the first year, they would have little bleached spots. Still very comfortable but not so pretty. Have to say they were silky and never scratchy, tho.

I purchased these sheets as a gift to my parents. They will never sleep on any other sheets again. The "thank you" note from them said the sheets were of "exceptional qualitry" and that I "must have spent a fortune".

These sheets shred after very minimal use. Do not waste your time buying them. Read the other reviews and don't say we didn't warn you.

HORRIBLE! I will never purchase sheets from this site! Little balls have started to form on the sheets where we lay the most.....it feels like little pieces of dirt when you are laying down sleeping at night! TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE! DON"T BUY!

I like sleeping on good quality smooth cotton sheets, so these look and feel great. The fitted sheet is generous in size. The top sheet comes just to the bottom edge of the mattress, which works if you are using a comforter on top and don't want the sheets to come down too low. I use a bedspread so could have used a more generous width. In the package they are soft and smooth. When washed, they are more crisp, and came out a bit wrinkled, so get them out of the dryer while still warm so you can smooth them out if you don't want to iron them. Overall, I'm pleased with the great quality of the set, and expect them to last.

When I first put these on the bed, I thought they were the best sheets I'd ever slept on. But now, less than a month later...and 3 washings....they are shredding....literally falling apart.....I would never buy them again.
