I bought these sheets on Black Friday, so I got them cheaper than the price currently listed, but even at the current price they are a great deal. The set I received are Chris Madden from JC Penney. I checked the price in the store and the 600 tc sets were on sale for more than this price! They didn't have any 800 tc for me to compare. These sheets are heavy and thick, but at 800 tc they should be. They are getting softer after every washing and every night we sleep on them (which has been every night since they came!!) They are a bit stiff at first, but just keep getting better and better! I should have bought two sets!!

I was a little unsure about ordering these sheets since there were no reviews on them. The high thread count for the reasonable price made me decide to go for it and I'm really glad I did. The sheets were soft and luxurious after the first time I washed them, and even more so after the second washing. I ordered the ivory and I was very satisfied with the color and overall quality of the set. I also liked how the sheets and pillowcases were an inch or more longer than some of the other queen sets I looked at since we have a high mattress and my pillows fit much better in these cases. I wouldn't hesitate to order another set for myself or friends and I would never buy anything other than Egyption cotton. It's soooo comfy!

These sheets are Egyptian Cotton--the best in the business. While not as soft from the dryer as other 800 thread count sheets, these are attractive, crisp and well-constructed. I would buy another set at this price--good value.

these are wonderful, soft, heavy, thick, warm sheets! we have ordered 2 sets at 2 different times and are extremely happy with both. we have tried other brands from other major dept stores and they don't even begin to compare. these are the real deal and they hold up well. my only complaint is that it took over 2 weeks (18 days in fact) for us to receive them on this last order... and it wasnt a busy shipping time. so, dont expect them in a hurry, and when they arrive, you'll love them! the pic doesn't do the colors justice. to me they seem a little darker/deeper in color, which is excellent. i have the mushroom ones and blue ones... both beautiful.

I was unfamiliar with cotton sheets that was more than 100 count until recently. When I saw that 800 count and even 1000 count was available, I immediately became curious and had to purchase it. When my Egyptian 800 count sheets arrived, I wasted no time to put it on my bed and lay on it. I am extremely pleased with the product and ready to try the 1000 count next time around and of course it will come from Overstock!

i purchased these sheets to go with a comforter set i also purchased form overstock. these sheets feel soooo good. im the typr of guy who hates for my pillows and sheets to get warm when im sleeping and, thank god that i have not had to flip my pillows notta once. LOL. i have not wahsed my sheets yet, but as of now they look and feel beautiful. pure quality. and so what if they wrinkle, thats what irons are for.

i got my sheets from here they where 800 t/c and they where very soft thick and am very happy with them that i just got a nother set of 1000 t/c and i am sure i will be just as happy with them. i will write a review when i get them

I was concerned that these wouldn't be a worthwhile purchase, but we are pleasantly surprised by these sheets. They're great! I agree with the other reviewers that explain how these are not sateen sheets. They are so thick and feel luxurious, though. They are not 'satin-y'-feeling, though, so don't expect that if you buy them. They are super high-quality, and we love them. I bought the taupe color, and it is very true to the way it looked online. Beautiful - great purchase! This is the first time we've had 800 thread count sheets. They wash up beautifully, and they are wrinkled once washed but I'm not sure why one would care about that.

Ok here is the deal on these sheets as well as sheets in general. First you need to know these sheets are not soft (think kittens for soft). If you want soft get sateen or satin. They are not supposed to be soft. These sheets are smooth. Which they are supposed to be. Tightly woven Egyptian cotton sheets should be smooth to the touch and billowy (like a sail). Sateen sheets are not as durable as a regular weave. These sheets are well constructed and attractive. Durable and smooth to the touch. I highly recommend them. I would suggest washing them twice in warm water to soften them before you sleep on them. If your used to a looser weave (say 300 count) these sheets will be thicker than what your used to... also they may seem stiff in comparison, which they should. These sheets rock... but make sure that you know what your buying. Smooth and soft are not the same thing.

We had purchased another set of Egyptian cotton sheets a few years ago and just loved them, each washing they get softer. These were a lot softer right out of the package, same thread count, 800. Even the embroidered hemstitch is softer than we thought it would be. We have had these sheets about a month now and are ordering another set for our guest bedroom! We highly recommend these 800 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets. They are so soft!
