Somewhat Scratchy
I bought the Cal King size sheet and it fit wonderfully onto my 15" mattress. No problem with meeting the depth required. I however thought that these sheets would be softer than they are. With 650 thread count these sheets are solid and well made, but they feel a bit scratchy and they come out of the wash a wrinkled mess. I later purchased a set of 450 thread count sateen sheets that have a much softer feel.

All 650 count Egyptian cotton sheets are NOT equal
We are spoiled by our Italian made top quality Egyptian high count sheets. The type that retail for $600-$900 per set or on sale for $300+ if you get lucky. We changed our king size bed to an adjustable king (2 XL twin mattresses) so I ordered these hoping for a decent fitted bottom sheet. Trust me, if you are used to top quality Egyptian cotton these "650" count will feel like cardboard by comparison. They were softer to the touch when I opened the pack, then I washed them before making the bed. Which meant it was too late to return them for a refund. I tried washing them 3 more times hoping to soften them up. No such luck. They fit the mattresses perfectly (XL Twin) UNTIL you raise the top or bottom to an elevated position which is the whole point of having an adjustable bed. And the sheets still feel scratchy compared to our old sheets. I cannot recommend these to folks who have an adjustable bed (the fitted bottom snaps off when the bed is raised) or people who are spoiled like we are. I only tried these because I have not found any top quality sheets from Italy that are made for the adjustable king size bed (with two XL twin mattresses). Currently I am waiting for the sheets I ordered from “*****” a company that specializes in adjustable bed sheeting. I've learned my lesson - do not order sheets online for an adjustable bed. And don't believe that all sheets that are made of Egyptian cotton and have a high thread count are the same. They aren't. I already knew that you get what you pay for so I blame myself for wasting the money not Overstock.com.

After 1 wash they started pilling. After 2 washes it is like sleeping on burlap.

Oh Sheets!
These are the softest, smoothest sheets! They fit a double-sided pillowtop mattress without having to pull and stretch. Great value!

650 Egyptian Cotton Sheets
I would have to say these are the best sheets I have purchased. They are extremely well made and the texture is like sateen, but not cold or hot. Great proportions for those with deep matresses. Highly recommend this product and I will buy these sheets in another color.

High-quality Comfort
Considering we spend about a third of our lives in bed, I have no problem spending a bit more for good bedding. I love these sheets. First, they are easy to put on; there's no struggling to get them to fit since they are oversized. Second, they have a sturdy and substantial feel; there is a high-quality thickness to them. Third, I love the burgundy color; they add a rich and elegant feel to our bedroom. I plan on ordering another pair!

650 tc Egyptian Cotton
Better made than the one I was supplied with 2-years ago.. 650-tc seems to be more "rugged" that the higher thread counts too.. I have an S&F, (very thick), mattress. And this fitted sheet covers that mattress well. If the flat sheet were only 6" longer, the set would be just perfect for me. Because, I like to fold the top sheet over a blanket (and the top sheet is just a little too short, to enable me to do that). Follow the washing instructions! Cold water, gentle cycle.. Because even the best "mercerized-spun" cotton will shrink. Cold water, gentle cycle will keep shrinkage to a minimum. If you can, line dry..

OUCH OUCH OUCH
I was wrong. In selecting these sheets I thought that I was getting a very high quality and very soft sheet, I was wrong. Although possessing a deep rich color, it appears that these sheets were made from the worst part of the cotton bulb. They are very stiff and hard. I have washed them twice and have tried to sleep on them once but the feel forced me to get out of bed and change the sheets. The feel is scratchy and coarse. Not a good purchase at all. Sadly I cannot send them back, because I washed them twice already. Would not suggest them to anyone that remembers when 800ct thread sheets soft and high quality, because these are not.

Liked them
I liked the feel of these sheets, they felt lovely on my new mattress. Our new mattress also came with a very thick mattress pad and these deep pocket sheets fit no problem. Be prepared to put the sheets on the bed immediately upon removal from the dryer, as others as mentioned, because they wrinkle.
