average pillow cases
I ordered these pillow cases assuming 500 thread count Egyptian cotton would be pretty nice. But I think they're just so so. They seem to run small. Our standard size pillows just barely fit the cases. The color advertised as "ivory" is more of a dull gray. We're using them but only because they're behind the decorator pillows and don't show.

Perfect Pillowcases
I've been looking for cool, crisp linen for quite a while--the kind that used to be called percale. This is the closest I've come to it. These pillowcases came out of the package silky. Then I washed them before putting them on the bed. They were slightly wrinkled (not a worry for me), but they felt wonderful. These are definitely summer sheets--of a lighter weight than I usually find, but I prefer that. Also, I ordered the white--it is a true white, bright and clean. Fortunately I ordered the matching sheets too. I'm ordering more. Excellent!

Not as expected
Though I haven't slept on them yet, I wasn't happy with how these came out of the dryer - all wrinkled and not nearly as soft as I had hoped. I'll keep them because I like the color but I wouldn't recommend them.

These pillow cases are very smooth feeling and wrinkle free! I would buy these again when needed.

Good pillowcases
I purchased the king size pillowcases in the sage color. Sometimes cases can be too narrow and you really have to shove the pillows in there to make them fit, which I hate. These cases fit easliy over our pillows and are soft and comfy. They do tend to wrinkle if you don't fold them right away which is why I've given them 4 stars instead of 5.

Pillow case color did not match the picture
Unfortunately the color of the pillow cases I ordered were listed as 'taupe', however, they did not match my sheet set that I had previously purchased from Overstock.com. I do understand that manufacturers colors vary by quite a bit, but the taupe pillow cases do not even come close to the sheet set I have. The pillow cases ARE a very good quality, I was just disappointed in the color.
