Glad I changed my mind.
When I examined the sheets I felt the material and found it to be a bit "thin" and was going to return them. I chatted with O.com and got an RMA# and even free return shipping very easily. I love Overstock.com. Then I talked to my neighbor who purchased the same sheets, examined her sheets after she had washed them and found the fabric to be soft, smooth and sturdy. So I reconsidered, washed my sheets and put them on the bed yesterday. The sheets fit my king mattress well with ample skirt on the fitted sheet. I could even add another couple of memory foam toppers to the mattress and they would still fit. The flat sheet width is not so ample, but the length is. The fabric is not "thin" as I first thought (I had only felt the pillow case). I would note that the description didn't mention that the cotton is "single ply" which I now know is a good thing from reading up on Egyptian cotton sheets on other web sites. This should be mentioned in the O.com description. I am happy with my purchase and glad I didn't return the sheets. O.com chat people are terrific and really give good customer service.

Soft, luxurious and fit the bed perfectly!
We bought our mattress a couple years ago and were not prepared for the difficulty finding sheets to fit it properly. It is over 24" thick with a pillow top. Every sheet set I bought didn't cover the whole mattress and the corners kept popping up. This set fits beautifully, absolutely NO slipping or popping off the corners. They are thick. luxurious and soft! I wash them in warm water, cold rinse, dry on permanent press and they come out beautifully! Am purchasing more! Very satisfied!

Finally!!!!
I had been searching for 2 years for a set of deep pocket sheets that would fit my pillow top mattress and 3" foam topper. Everything I had purchased slipped off, or the elastic gave out. None of them were ever a perfect fit, and I had almost resigned myself to spending over $100 dollars at a department store just to get sheets that fit. Cheapskate that I am, I kept looking and gave these sheets a chance. Sooo glad I did! They had been given good reviews, and for good reason. The elastic is a wide band that is around the entire fitted sgeet. Nothing comes off when we sleep! The sheets are soft and feel very substantial. I will be buying 2 more sets soon!

Nice Sheets!!
I was looking for sheets with a VERY deep pocket because I have a plush pillowtop mattress and a thick mattress cover. Sheets I have purchased in the past for 18" sheets did not work at all. These sheets are so deep they could accomodate another 4 or 5 inches of depth easily. The texture is smooth and comfortable to the touch, they launder beautifully with few wrinkles. My husband and I are very pleased with our purchase.

Finally! A sheet that fits!
I cannot count the number of sheets I have purchased for our pillow top mattress that do not fit! When you have arthritic hands, struggling with the last corner of the fitted sheet is such a chore. FINALLY! A SHEET THAT FITS!! The quality is lovely too. I went back to order another set of these wonderful sheets and they had all been gobbled up by other "believers"! I am on the waiting list for them now. These sheets are wonderful! An important fact is to always wash in cold water and dry on LOW heat when you have sateen sheets. That will help you a lot.

best sheets ever
It's often difficult to judge the quality of a product online so I searched a long time before choosing these sheets. They are super comfortable and the wide elastic in the fitted sheet assures it stays in place. Very well made. Hands down the best sheets I have purchased! As usual, Overstock service was impeccable.

Good for some, not others
The sheets do have very deep pockets so they will accomodate very thick mattresses. The sheets are quite thick, seem durable. HOWEVER, they are NOT soft.

Surprise Seam in Fitted Sheet
First of all I love the thickness of the sheets and the quality however I have never seen a seam in a fitted sheet before. I guess they didn't want to waste material but couldn't they have made a twin fitted bottom with no seam rather than a Cal King Fitted Sheet with a seam going all the way up the side? I would send them back but it's too much trouble and I won't be sleeping on the seam so I let it go. The elastic band on the fitted bottom is very high quality, about 1 !/2 inches thick. Even though the fitted bottom sheet has very deep pockets, it's very tight on the box springs below our mattress. It will work the way it is. Overall, I am satisfied with the smoothness of the sheets and have enjoyed sleeping on them this week.
