Just what I was looking for!
I have a Cal King bed with a large down comforter that has always been hard to care for because it is white & difficult to clean. This Duvet Cover was my first purchase from Overstock.com & it is wonderful! The subtle stripe pattern on the gray looks very upscale, like something from a hotel. The hand-feel of the cotton fabric is soft & thick with with a nice smooth texture. I haven't washed it yet but I washed the shams & they didn't shrink, warp, or fade. I took one star off for the seams where the button closure is: they are slightly uneven & there were still small chalk marks for where the buttons were sewn on (from the production I guess). I'm sure they will wash off. All in all, this was exactly what I was looking for & the price is stellar. Just a small note: If you have a Cal King Bed with a pillow-top mattress, the duvet cover will not drape over the sides down to the boxspring.

Soft Duvet
Cover is soft and has held up to one wash so far. The gray is a nice shade and it didn't wrinkle too badly after the dryer. Just wish these things weren't so much money (they're essentially two sheets sewn together). Doesn't have those things inside to hold the comforter in place but that's never been a problem for me as the blankets don't move much (and safety pins work in a pinch). But we wanted a soft, decent quality duvet and this was a good choice.

Beautiful and practical
This duvet cover is just slightly larger than my duvet which is perfect. I washed the cover upon receiving it, carefully following instructions on the duvet label. I removed from dryer immediately and smoothed it out flat. Then I turned it inside out and sewed in two strips of bias tape, one in each corner of the closed end. This is a method I saw on Youtube. I also saw on Youtube how to put the duvet cover on the duvet, by rolling it all up like a burrito. So first I tied each of the bottom corners with the bias tape, then rolled everything into a burrito and pulled it through. Now I have a covered duvet that stays in place and looks lovely on my bed. This duvet cover is good quality.
