i purchased 300TC egyption sateen cotton from overstock few years ago, incredible incredible. finally ripped after maybe 3 years of service. I purchased these 400TC. wrong move. color isnt gold, more yellowish beige. like everyone else here said, i washed it, all wrinkled. unlike my last one, washed and it looks beautiful. these also felt more like a very cheap regular cotton sheet, very rough even after my wash. it does have a little bit of sheen on it like it wants to be sateen. I think the company that list these items on overstock is just purely ripping everyone off. it's prob not 400TC, and prob not even egyption cotton, since everyone here has agreed that there's no brand, TC, or info on the package. I compared my old sheets and this one, my old sheets has a high sheen and incredibly smoothness running ur hand on it, this 400TC one has little sheen and very rough felt to the hand. I'm going to call overstock and complaint big time, that they allow such deceptive vendor to list products on their site.
These sheets are sateen, but a bit stiff. After more than a year of use, they are holding up well. My only small complaint is that the pillow cases do not match the color of the sheets. They must've been manufactured from different batches of fabric or something. It's a small difference in color, no big deal, but there *is* a difference. Otherwise the sheets are very nice. I'd buy them again.
Sheets started pilling and disintegrating after 2 months. I have never experience sheets that are this low in quality.
They came today..No invoice in the box. The zipper bag the sheets came in had no information. No company name ,no thread count info nothing. Label says 100 % cotton.Thats it. Are you people kdding me How do I know these are 400 count. They are going back and I will never order anything from this place again.
These were of very high quality. They fit my deep pocket bed, even after washing them. Other sheets that I have purchased did not live up to their "deep pocket" description. They are comfortable and look good. I would recommend them.
I bought these sheets a while ago. They are super soft! But I agree with another reviewer that they are very, very thin. But I guess for this price, what can we expect.
I was very disappointed with these sheets. When I pulled them out of the bag they had a nice sheen to them and I really liked the color (moss). However, after one wash they felt rough to the touch. Even though I slept in them I plan on sending it back because the sheets were noticibly scratchy. I'm going back to the Pure Beech sheets I bought before which feel like silk.
I have purshased sheets from high end stores 'I was so empressed with the quality of these sheets i have washed them several times and they still fill just as soft as the day i got them. The pocket size was perfect for our pillow top mattress, even my husband said he was very pleased with the purchase the cost was very affordable not like the high end store where you pay twice the price;but do not get the quality; I would highly reccomend these sheets to anyone
I bought this set for a friend, who is quite satisfied with them. This is his first set of 'decent' quality sheets though!
I was expecting a much softer fabric when I ordered these sheets. My first instinct was to return them, but I decided to see how they'd feel after washing them...that decision was an unfortunate mistake.
not what I expected for 400 count. stif and rough.
I am very happy with this purchase. The sheets are beautiful, soft and luxurious. They came in a set of 2, which was a great value. My only downside is that they are a bit large for our California King, they are made for the thicker mattress, and have a bit of extra material - that's okay though!
Wrinkles....wrinkles....wrinkles... I spent over an hour trying to iron out the wrinkles from one top sheet. I can deal with the fitted sheet but I would not put that sheet on my dog's bed... terrible... BE CAREFUL. I thought I was getting softer sheets not a mess.
These are nice sheets. Very comfortable, but a little heavy. The color was listed as rose, but more red. Nice color, though. I like them.

The sheets provided were Indian Cotton - not Egyptian cotton as requested and paid for. It is doubtful that they were 410 count either as they were flimsy and lacked the usual 'body' of Egyptian Cotton 410 count. Furthermore when we put the fitted onto the bed for the first time the side seam split from top to bottom. Very disappointing.
These are some of the best 400 Thread Count sheets we have bought, good price.
These sheets are very good quality, especially for the price.
Sheets arrived quickly and were in wonderful condition. Love them!
beautiful canyon rose color which reminds me of the southwest. My husband really like the sheets and they wash well
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? very good
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. substantial sheets but oh so soft
- How accurate was the on site description of the product? great
So far I am very pleased with the product; my matress is thick and yet the sheets fit nicely without my needing to wrangle the fitted corners into place. The texture is silky and light, with no pilling, snags, or loose threads. I line-dry my bedding and that did not make the sheets feel overly stiff or scratchy. They are a bit light, so time will tell regarding durability, but for these summer nights, they could not be more comfortable.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Fine
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Seems good, the fabric is not quite as heavy as I had expected, but it is a very nice weight for summer.
- How accurate was the on site description of the product? Seems accurate.
