Nice set of cases for the price and thread count. I typically buy a higher count but got these for my daughter's bed. She loves the way they feel and so do I, not cheap and flimsy like some from major department stores at the same thread count. Would make this purchase again.
Although these pillow cases lost their "sheen" and "crispness" after they were washed, they still ended up nice and soft and didn't wrinkle too badly like others we have had. After washing they still were large enough to fit easily on the pillows, but they weren't too large.
I am pleased with the pillowcases. I did iron them because the cotton just looked better and I love a beautifully made bed. They feel great to the touch and I love the breathability of the cotton. The color was exactly as shown and the pillowcases did not shrink in the wash/dry process. Very pleased.
These are high quality fabric pillowcases. I'd give them a five, but the "ivory" color was more of a butter yellow than ivory. Luckily I had a set of sheets that were yellow, so I used the cases with that set. It is difficult to match colors from pictures on the websites. They are nice cases, though.
I would recommend the 300 count pillow cases that I got with my queen sheet set. (Horizons 300) I cannot see or feel any difference between the two. I just spent more money on the 400 count. Unfortunately they do not sell the pillow cases seperately for the Horizons sheets but there are others. I probably would not spend my money on these again. They are okay if you have money to blow!!!
I just got a new bed set and wanted purple pillow cases to match, these did it, they are the same color as in the picture. I put them on the bed without even washing them, I know lazy but there is no smell and they were soft enough. I'm pretty picky about the texture of my sheets but we actually use these pillow cases. Hope they are even better after I was them.
