This pale blue striped King/Cal King duvet was exactly what I had been looking for at MUCH higher prices. Yes, it's a little wrinkly when first out of the dryer, but that goes away once it covers the down comforter. High quality cotton, very comfy, not heavy. Didn't realize it came with two pillowcases, so that was an added bonus. Do not hesitate, this is a great deal.

Excellent product at a great price!
from Ocean City, New Jersey,  Jul 14, 2012

This duvet set was my first purchase from Overstock, and was bought to replace a similar Pottery Barn set that was covered in holes from being washed many times. At first I was hesitant because of the cheap price and fairly low thread count, but after reading the reviews I figured I had nothing to lose. I washed the set right out of the package, and when I put it on my bed I quickly realized what a great deal this was. It is beautiful quality, extremely soft and nice looking! The stripes are very subtle but just enough of a design, and the pillow cases are a great extra where I would usually have just had the simple ones that come with a sheet set. I absolutely love the feel of this set and would highly recommend it!

High quality sheets at a low price
from Rockville, MD,  Aug 12, 2009

As a preliminary matter, sheets with a thread count above 300 are a ripoff because at that point, manufacturers employ various tricks to artificially inflate the thread count. There is no increase in comfort. These sheets have a high enough thread count to be soft and smooth, but not so high that you're paying for the prestige of a big number on the package. They are also made of Egyptian cotton, the highest quality cotton around. I've been buying sheets from Overstock for years, and these are another quality set.

Bleached Pillow Cases
 from Michigan,  Jan 5, 2010

I purchased a king size cover for my new queen sized comforter and the fit was just slightly larger than the comforter but that is OK as I have't had a chance to wash it yet. The color and fabric were beautiful however my only complaint is that shortly after using the shams I noticed a bleach spot on a sham and didn't know where it came from. Slowly more started to appear on the shams. ( I did not use any sort of bleach product in the wash, just regular detergent) The only thing I can think of is that it came from cleansing products I use on my face. I use the Clinique 3 Step system regulary and Bare Minerals make-up. It may have come from the toner I use on my face before bedtime. Sadly, I ended up having to throw the shams out but the duvet hasn't shown any marks. I haven't had this experience with any other of my pillowcases but I just thought I'd give everybody a heads up.

Very satisfied! I love this set!
from Elgin, SC,  Jul 2, 2012

I love this set! Some have said this duvet set has wrinkles--I washed and dried my set immediately after I opened the package, and it does have a couple of light wrinkles but not enough to detract from its looks. In fact, I think it looks wonderful with a couple of wrinkles--comfy and homey. It is very soft and lightweight like I was hoping it would be. I am very, very pleased and would not hesitate to order this set again in one of the pastel colors to switch out with my white one. My sheets are white with a muted white stripe so they go perfectly with the muted white striped duvet cover. My bed looks like an expensive hotel room's bed which is exactly what I was going for!

Not Worth It
 from CA,  Apr 26, 2012

Duvet didn't fit my comforter well...seems a tad small once I washed it. And it requires ironing. Too late to return it, I'll give it to someone.

Good purchase
from Houston, TX,  Aug 5, 2009

I was looking for something "maroon" and realized burgundy is about the same! Soft cover that goes well on a duvet. Light stripe throughout. Aired it out and ran it through a steam cycle once I received it. Looks fine.

love it
 from Iowa,  Nov 9, 2008

Received duvet very fast and can't be happier. I ordered taupe and the color is good, a tad darker than pictured but I like it. soft comfy material, a tiny thread flaw but will be ok. washed it and it looks great on the bed, no rinkles. Overall I'm very satisfied and would purchase again.

1 duvet cover + ONE pillow cover = 2 piece set
 from California,  Aug 8, 2014

Just the duvet cover would be a good deal. Well made and nice, smooth fabric that's not too thin. A lot of so-called taupe shades are warm brown or beige or khaki, but this one is as shown in the picture. I haven't washed it yet so I can't say how it holds up in the laundry. IT CAME WITH ONE PILLOW COVER, not two. That's okay with me because I just wanted the duvet cover. This is a two-piece set, not "Egyptian Cotton 300 Thread Count Striped 3-piece Duvet Set"

Good quality duvet set
from Limerick, PA,  Jul 31, 2014

This looks very good on the twin bed in my guest room. The stripes add a touch of elegance and it fits the platform bed well.

Best one

Had this for 2 years. Fits well and color is true. Gets softer with each washing. Now I have to find one in a king size.

Thin and wrinkled
 from Michigan,  Apr 21, 2009

Upon arrival, this duvet LOOKED perfect and felt very luxurious; THEN I washed it!!! The fabric came out of the dryer extremely wrinkled and felt very thin. There must have been a lot of sizing or starch in this before washing. I had to return it.

Looks good
from Stamford, CT,  Dec 16, 2014

Nice and bright. I use it for my husband's room andhe doesn't care about threadcount and his room is smaller and warmer than mine so he doesn't need a high threadcount like I do. It helps to give the room a fresh look.

not what I expected
 from Michigan,  Nov 4, 2014

I ordered the Taupe color and it was a very unattractive dark brown. The quality is also poor. Very thin material and it does not keep it's finish after the first washing. Threads keep coming off of it.
