I didn't expect this set to be as well made as it is, it is heavier than any other duvet set that I have purchased over the years and it is so soft. One of the things I like best about it, is that even after I washed and dried it, it was wrinkle free! Definitely worth the price!Read More
I love this duvet...nice and heavy, thick, color is delightful, I can't say enough about it! I feel like a princess (albeit an old one...) when I wake up. Very fast shipping, washed in Orvus and added a cup of vinegar to wash water , cold water, of course. Line dried in the fresh air and sun, sleep warm tonight!!!Read More
This comforter duvet exceeded my expectations. It is crisp, sturdy, soft, and of high quality. This would be a great Christmas gift for family.Read More
I'm a little confused by the reviews that I saw. People said how soft this duvet was, but it does feel like it's made out of parachute material. Really heavy and stiff and doesn't breath well at all. I'm hoping that maybe if I wash it (50 times) it will loosen up. I saw the super-high thread count and thought it would be really soft, but it barely moves. Makes me afraid to ever buy bedding online again. I gave it more than 1 star because maybe I'm missing something and 1500 TC implies durability over comfort. If that is the case, yes, this does feel like it could last several hundred years.Read More
The duvet cover is nice and soft. This is not a flimsy product. Worth the money.Read More
The material and color(gold) are wonderful. It has a great sheen to it and feels real quality. I have other 1500TC Egyptian cotton which is softer but not as heavy/thick as this material. It also seems to get softer with washing. I've found washing this high TC Egyptian cotton not a problem and simply hang it to dry without ironing. Ironing will probably make it more uniform/smooth, but be careful not to burn it ! The size of king size is very generous - I managed to comfortably (no pun intended!) fit a super king size duvet inside this cover - it's that big ! I used Canadian goose down as I don't like to compromise! Some might think this material feels too hard and stiff (like canvas) but it's warmth and quality are what I want. It's also real heavy material - you'll feel it's weight from when you first receive it, to when you're under it in bed. It makes me think of parachute material?, it's that strong/solid. This material breathes and insulates really well. You won't be cold in bed again with this material. I've bought all my Egyptian cotton from the USA ( I live in the UK) - which shows how good it is, and this Egyptian cotton is the heaviest I've come across. This material makes you feel like a King/Queen in bed. Life's too short to miss out on this quality. It's a fraction of the price of similar bedding at Harrods (London), probably better quality and there's more color choices. Quality without paying for an exclusive brand name.Read More
This is thick cotton with a slight sateen sheen. I bought the queen in ivory and its a very buttery colored ivory. Perfect size and a good value. I' m going to order the king size for my other bed because I love this one so much.Read More
I was totally blown away by how soft this set was. I was really excited waiting for them to get here, and it was worth the wait. It wasn't long, but felt like forever! This set has a heavier feel to them, which works really well for me, being a freeze baby all of the time! I am absolutely in love with these. I paired them with a set of 400 TC sheets that are absolutely beautiful! My fiance and I are very pleased with these purchases. I will be getting another color as a backup, because it is so worth it! I highly recommend this set to anyone! I couldn't be happier!Read More
This duvet was so soft and hefty right out of the box. There is a review that it felt like sandpaper and it couldn't be further from it. The minute I opened it up I just wanted to spread it out and cuddle up for a nap! Best duvet ever!Read More
So far I am very satisfied with this purchase. This is a heavy well made product that says quality, despite being sourced from China. It adds warmth and structure to our down comforter. The effect it creates is high end hotel bed. It is getting softer with washing, but it is solid not satiny. Comes with two king cases. Shipping was quick and efficient. Recommended.Read More

Duvets vs Down Comforters

Bed Sheet Thread Count Fact Sheet
The thread count of bed sheets refers to the number of threads per square inch of fabric. For example, if a square inch of fabric in a 300-thread count sheet with a standard weave were examined closely, 150 vertical threads and 150 horizontal threads would be counted, for a sum total of 300. The higher the thread count, the softer and smoother the sheets will be. Thread count is an important consideration to take when choosing a new set of sheets, but it should not be used as a sole indicator of quality. Equally important in choosing a bed sheet is the type and quality of the materials used as well as the fabric's weave.

Pearl Creation Fact Sheet
Pearls are the product of a living creature. Mollusks living in saltwater and fresh water have been forming pearls for over 500 million years. Coveted for their simplicity and color, these organic gems are often set into pearl necklaces, rings, earrings and other jewelry pieces. Unlike gems that evolve from minerals in the earth's crust, pearls begin their creation as a reaction to foreign matter inside a shell-covered mollusk. Pearl jewelry is an homage to the beauty of nature and time.
