Wonderful sheets! Purchased Ivory 1st, then sage. These sheets are great but do need a "breaking in time" as is the case with most high TC bedding. Because they are thick heavy sheets you really need to wash them probably a dozen cycles to start feeling just how soft they become. I have similar quality white sheets, also Egyptian cotton, they have been washed multiple times the past yr & now are sooooo!!!! soft. What you're paying for is the density of weaving, that's what "thread count" means, to those not accustomed to this they may seem heavy & even a little scratchy at 1st. Once broken in, you'll love them & sleep so well you'll never go back and they will last for many yrs, they are an investment. RE: wrinkling issue, 1st they are cotton, 2nd launder as recommended, 3rd dry top & bottom sheets separately with a tennis ball in the dryer (old trick) that keeps them from "balling up", 4th fold & stack nicely; this should smooth out most of the wrinkles. I alternate my linens, touch up top sheet/ pillow cases with iron & my bed always looks & feels WONDERFUL!!! Overstock is great, prices can't be beat & customer service is fab. Invest in these linens, you'll be glad you did (WHAT'S MORE IMPORTANT THAN OUR SLEEP?)

Overstock has done it again..... These sheets are not for the feign of heart. They are not your silky, satiny, impress your boyfriend or girlfriend with the feel of soft (cheap) sheets. These sheets are built for sleeping - in comfort. Yes, when you wash them they wrinkle..... but if you press them they can be made as straight as a level..... They are cool, crisp, smell like springtime freshness, sleep like a baby sheets that are cool to the touch and look like a million dollars on the bed. Don't write me about too scratchy or too stiff... When I'm in bed I like mine stiff. The fact is these are the finest quality sheets that you will ever find for the money - and I have tried virtually all of them. These things wear like iron, last for years, and will be as good for sleeping five years from now as anything in your linen closet. There... I've said it - and I've said all I have to say about this product.

So, overall, a great price for a hefty threadcount. The sheets have gone through several washes and are still smooth and have perfect hems. They seem to be well made and durable. The only downside is they are thick sheets--really thick. Their threadcount seems to relate to the density rather than the feel of the fabric. So, if you're looking to slide into sateen heaven at night, these are not your sheets. If you're looking for smooth, hearty sheets, buy away!

This Egyptian Cotton 1200 thread count is definitely the best sheets that is out there. A lot of people prefer the sateen sheets which slides and is very slippery. Before upgrading to the Kingsdown King Size bed, we had a queen size and were using a high quality (900tc) and it was very comfortable, but this 1200 tc is by far the most comfortable I've had. I'm very happy with my purchase and will be purchasing the other different colors. F.Y.I. There is a 1000tc that is available by other manufactures that is listed on overstock, but it isn't as half as good as the Egyptian Cotton 1200tc. I know because I made a mistake in purchasing the 1000tc.

Wasn't exactly what I thought I was getting. I thought they would be the same as the sheets I had purchased previously... so soft right out of the box. They weren't, however, after washing them a few times I can tell that they will eventually get there. It's a heavy sheet and can almost be used as a light blanket, but that isn't discomforting to me and it just goes to show that the quality of the fabric is that good. No pilling or stray fabric ends after washing, another testimate to the quality of fabric. The only thing holding me back from the 5 star rating is that they aren't soft yet and that the pillow cases aren't offered in sizes other than standard. Since I have Queen sized pillows it would have been nice to have the option when making my purchase to get pillow cases that fit my pillows.

I wont buy anything less than 1000tc sheets. I have some 1500s, and these feel just like them.....wonderful! What really amazes me is the price. I paid more than double this for my last set. This is my first OSC purchase, and I know where to look for bargains now

There is a misconception about sheets out there that the higher the thread count the better the quality. This is only partially true. Actually, the highest quality sheets are a SINGLE ply, high thread count. The single ply is just as important as the thread count. I purchased two sets of these sheets and can guarantee you that they are not single ply. These sheets feel (and weigh) much like canvas. They are thick and will likely last a lifetime, but it will take at least a lifetime for them to become soft. Do yourself a favor and make sure that you purchase single ply sheets. You will be much more pleased with the softness.

i couldn't believe how soft & luxurious these sheet sets felt! The fit was perfect and the color stayed exactly the same after washing. I highly recommend this product.

The sheets arrived just a few days after placing the order. After washing them and putting them through 2 dryer cycles (they are very heavy and tend to roll into a ball in the dryer) we put them on the bed. Our initial reaction was that they were a bit scratchy and made a lot of noise. After just one night though they relaxed and are the nicest sheets we have ever had. The more they are washed and used the more we appreciate them. They are not too hot or cold, body temperature remains comfortable for the entire night.

I was extremely pleased with the sheet set I received. This is the 1st sheet set that I have been able to find that is...soft, quality made, and that I could afford. I definitly recommend these...Actually, I already have...to my mom! If that doesn't tell you something, then I don't know what would. The fitted sheet is made with deep pockets, which is a must for many!!! I am thinking of buying another set for myself!!! It is definitely well worth the money!

I purchased 4 sets of these sheets to replace the older sets of sheets in my linen closets. The price was decent so I figured I would give them a shot since they got relatively good reviews. The color(s) are good and accurate on the website. The stitching in these sheets is horrible. Poor quality all the way around, but if you know a decent tailor or have a sewing machine, there's nothing you can't fix since, after all, sheets are pretty simple construction. However, the fact that one would be faced with repairing stitching on sheets for which you have paid over $100 brings the whole value proposition into question. They're comfortable and decent fabric quality. That's about the extent of it.

I have bought high thread count sheets from O.com in the past and been very happy with the quality of the sheets. This set, however, lasted only two months. Without obvious cause, the sheets ripped on the third use. Will buy another set from O.co, but from a different manufacturer.

These sheets are thick and very soft. I got the sage green and am very pleased. I have purchased sheets for alot more money and was disappointed with the quality. I would higly recommend these sheets, FYI you can also order additional pillowcases on Overstock.

At first my husbans was skeptical about the thickness of the sheets, but after a few washings, we both fell in love with them. So much so that I bought another set. Takes the place of an extra blanket in the summer. Feels luxurious when you get into bed.

These sheets are beautifully made however they are heavy and do wrinkle even thou I take them out right away after partially drying. They are beautiful when Ironed. I have washed mine twice since I got them and they are stil quite rough but I know from other 1200 ones that they get softer with each washing. These sheets will last almost forever but don't wash in hot water or they will shrink.

I am a total convert! These sheets are fabulous. The are very heavy, but they are SO plush and smooth that they don't feel like a canvas. I am purchasing them for all of the "couples" in the family for their birthdays this year!

These sheets are wonderful! They look and feel so elegant. The pockets on the fitted sheet are soooo deep...I have 2 feather beds on top of my pillow top mattress and there is still plenty of room to spare! I will definitely buy more (I'd like to have a set of every color!!).

I had purchased 800-count before, which was so soft, I could not believe it. However, this 1200-count is not quite soft, and I thought it would be even better. Perhaps it will get softer with more wash, but it is a disappointment so far.

These are wonderful sheets! They really have some weight to them. I like sturdy, well made, durable products and these sheets fit the bill. They get softer each time you wash them and they don't "pill" like many do. This product is worth the money. I ordered another set yesterday for myself and a set for each of my daughters for Christmas. As a gift, these are great. I got something that will be used over and over again and should last a long time. Keep finding the good stuff O.com! I have ordered several things from the company, have always been pleased with the products and joined Club O because I keep coming back. Thank you for bringing real value products to the market.

This is my first purchase of sheets with this high a thread count, and I'll never go back to the 400-800 t/c level. Those are fine, but these are FINE! Very soft while also very thick -- perfect for winter instead of nasty flannel sheets (sorry, all you flannel sheet fans), but then I winter in Florida, not Maine. They wash beautifully. If you're finicky like me, you'll want to iron the pillow cases and top "fold-over" portion of the top sheet, even if you pull them from the dryer immediately.
