very thick, but soft. Gets softer with each washing. Color is very accurate to picture as shown.

high quality product, made to last, does wrinkle quite a bit when washed.

I ordered the sheet set as well as these extra pillowcases. They were the weirdest color I've ever seen. Don't even know what to call it. Something between a weird gray/green w/a hint of brown. They were not what you would expect high tc sheets to be. They were very thin & had a weird feel to them. I didn't even take them out of the pkg. When I saw the color, I unzipped the pkg & felt them...zipped them back up & returned them. Run, don't walk away from this product. I've ordered several high tc sheet sets from O & I've found that you really have to be careful. Most the time, the reviews are pretty accurate, but not on these. I had 2 sets of 1500 tc sheets from O & one is very, very heavy & feels almost like canvas at first. (After a few washing's & sleeping on them, they are wonderful) And the other, is a heavy sheet, but no where near as heavy as the 1st ones I ordered. But, they are very nice. These however, don't feel as good as the 600 tc I got for our guest room. If you're going to buy "good" sheets, spend the few extra $$'s & get the higher tc.

These pillow cases are perfect! They were ordered as extras for guests. After receiving them we decided to use them on our pillows instead. They are heavier than I had expected. With the heavy thread count I should have known better. These pillow cases are soft and comfy for a good nights sleep. I will be ordering more for the extra pillows. Overstock has done it again.

It's not quit what I expected it not bad it is very nice. I just expected something a lot more softer and not so stiff.

These pillowcases were purchased for my child's medical/therapy needs. He needed to have 100% cotton and these cases are very thick (the material is thick) and durable.

These pillow cases are fabulous. I ordered them as a gift for my boyfriend for his new king size pillow and they are perfect. Nice and heavy fabric with a slight sheen, but not too shiny (I hate that low quality shiny look). I would recommend washing and drying them before first use to make them extra soft and get the fold creases out.

I care for an elderly parent and have learned to use king size pillows since when they are turned their head doesn't fall of the pillow. His bed is a queen bed, so bed sheets sets usually don't include king cases. I purchased these to fill the gap and do they do a wonderful job. The fabric is smooth against the fragile skin on the face, they are not skimpy in size, they are a perfect fit of our needs and I am glad I purchased them.

I never really got sheets or pillowcases higher than 350. These say they are 1000 but, I would think at 1000 they would be super soft. i dont know maybe is the material that makes it softer not the number? They look great and expensive just not as soft as I expected.

The quality of the pillowcases is very good. They have a slight sheen to them but still feel matte to the touch. I ordered these at the same time as a sheet set and they do not match well. I would have preferred to have enough information to match the sheets to the pillowcases. Egyptian Cotton 1000 Thread Count listed as the description on both items did not give enough information to match them adequately.

Great value. Thick and heavy. Not as soft as my other pillowcases, but a few more washes and it'll be just as soft.
