I was very excited to recieve this item which was much more appropriate for our Olympic Queen bed than our old 600 thread count King sized sheets. My first impression was that they felt a bit rough and upon comparison were not as soft as my old sheets, however they fit much better and were almost a bit large for the mattress. I threw them in the washer and dryer and when I tried to put them back on the bed, I found that the fitted sheet had shrunk significantly and was very difficult to stretch over the mattress. I was amazed at how much they shrunk in the wash and felt that this along with the "rough feel" was enough to return the product.

Loved the gold 1000 thread sheets. They're heavier than I thought but now that I've gone to the 1000 thread, I don't think I can go back to the others. I've ordered lots of things from overstock and have never been disappointed.

I love these sheets. I did not have any shrinking issues. I have a very large mattress and it is hard to find fitted sheets that fit. These fit wonderful. Of course, they wrinkle a little but I knew they would. I may even iron them one day. I will order another set soon.

I love these sheets!!! I have an 18" mattress and it has been so hard to find sheets that fit it. These sheets fit it perfectly. The flat sheet is nice and large and the fitted sheet covers the entire mattress. I am soooooo happy with these sheets. The fabric is nice and thick and so soft. If you have thick mattresses and you like nice quality fabric, these are the sheets for you. I couldn't be happier with my new sheets and I will be buying a second set.

I absolutely LOVE these!! I have no idea how I ever slept on anything else, and cant imagine ever going back to a lesser thread count!!

We purchased these 1000 thread count sheets and have been impressed by the way they fit so perfectly. We have had this Olympic queen mattress for some time now and have not been happy with the sheet sets we have purchased locally.

Great heavy cotton sheets and worth the price, very soft and comfortable, there is nothing like sleeping on quality Egyptian Cotton sheets.

Queen fitted sheet way too wide for bed. Lots of hanging threads. Not a great quality product.

Sleeping o these sheets is like heaven. The tight weave of the 1000 count makes for a near air tight fabric thats dense, yet comforting. These sheets are made to last years and provide the same level of comfort during their duration. I started using 1000 thread count sheets some yaers back, and there is no comparison to anything else. Other sheets seem flimsy after one or two washes, but you'll find these keep up there full feel and smooth texture for years. But the best part is the price. Overstock offers premium sheets at a price that allows anyone to appreciate them.

We have several sets of high thread count sheets and these aren't anywhere near the quality of the other sets. They lack the heavy feel of the higher quality sets we previously bought and don't fee as if they will have the durability we have come to expect.

I really like the sheet, it's very comfortable and very thick the only catch is the sheet itself shrink slowly, so now it doesn't fit the our mattress. Overstock didn't let me return or exchange the merchandise since it passed five month of their return policy. But there was no way of knowing because the sheet was shrinking slowly until after six months then you could tell the difference.

Very good quality for the price. Would buy again. Olympic Queen Sheets are hard to fine.

My husband and I ordered these sheets almost a year ago, and we still love them! They are super soft and cozy, but maybe a little too cozy for a summer night. Nevertheless, they are perfect for those chilly winter nights. I would recommend a lower thread count for spring and summer.

I'm very satisifed with these sheets and feel they were a good value. The color is beautiful and the sheets are thick and high quality. They are somewhat oversized and would easily fit a pillowtop or other mattress pads. I've washed the sheets a couple of times and they are getting softer with each washing. Great purchase!

The sheets are absolutely beautiful - a joy to sleep on. The Olympic Queen Sheets are not easy to find so when I saw them on Overstock.com and saw that I could get them in a 1000 thread count I ordered them right away and couldn't wait for them to arrive. When they did I was very happy!

With our new tempur-pedic mattress these sheets made a great compliment. I put on different sheets while washing these and my husband instantly felt the difference and got these out of the dryer! I love them and the color.

I had these sheets for about a month before the thread started to come out of the pillow case. They are very comfortable, but, do not fit beds with pillow tops or feather mattresses well, and are poorly made.

This is a great quality product. I will buy more of them soon.

I read the reviews for these sheets and was anxiously waiting for my "1000 thread count egyptian cotton sheet set". When I got them, I was surprised when they felt "hard" ... they weren't soft as a "1000" thread count sheet set is supposed to feel like. In fact, I have a sheet set that's only 600 tc that's softer. I'm hoping they will get softer with time. But I have already washed the sheets four times and they haven't gotten any softer.
