This reversible featherbed features a down top side for winter and a cool touch Tencel side for the summer. This Eddie Bauer featherbed is designed for the ultimate sleep experience and measures almost 5 inches thick to provide the ultimate in comfort.
- The middle of the featherbed contains a special mixture of white goose feathers and soft polyester to help prevent feathers from poking
- The cool touch Tencel side features moisture wicking Tencel fibers for summer time usage
- Shell material: 75-percent cotton/25-percent Tencel lyocell
- Thread count: 300
- Type of down: White goose down and white goose feather/polyester blend
- Fill power: 650
- Fill weight: 14 pounds
- 14 ounces of fill in the down top and 25 ounces of fill in the Tencel bottom

Down and feather-filled products are packaged tightly during shipping. Upon receipt, remove this item from its packaging, fluff gently, and allow several hours for full loft recovery. In addition, products sealed in plastic packaging sometimes have a disagreeable scent because of concentrated natural fibers. A few hours of airing typically removes the odor.

I've had others that don't come close to this one ... Love the reversible sides that this has ,one side for summer the other for winter . Trust me you will not be disappointed .

wonderfully comfy but beware
This feather mattrewss is exceedingly comfortable and is quite luxurious. However, it arrived in a plain plastic cover with only one label with the name of another manufacturer and no sign of the Eddie Bauer endorsement. If ur paying for the name brand, look elsewhere. Also, there were no instructions as to which side was which. One is bordered with red piping which could mean it is for summer months Or it could signify that that is the side which will help keep u warm. Same story for the other side which has blue piping. The product description also stated that one side was made from tensely, a very expensive textile which I happen to love for its softness and cool comfort. None of the manufacturers tags lists tensely as a material usead in the making of this product. According to the tags its all cotton blends. Yes, it is very comfortable but falls way short of the descriptions and the name and the price I paid for it.

It's like sleeping in the clouds
We had bought new full size bedding and it was just too hard. Being the princess and the pea that I am, I needed to soften things up a bit. The loft of this featherbed is think, plush and luxurious and honestly it is like sleeping on a cloud. I highly recommend it!
