For what I paid, I'd say this was a very good deal. The set is beautiful and the fabric, soft. Looks pretty much identical to way more expensive sets. Saw some complaints about the fabric being thin, but I don't see that at all. Prior to purchasing the set, I also saw some reviews about the stitching losing its integrity after a wash and that worried me a bit. But my mother-in-law advised me that you are never supposed to throw your duvet in the wash in the first place (especially if it has embroidery on it), it needs to be dry-cleaned. I still like the idea of a water based wash though and may put it through an extra gentle cycle and delicate dry. The only thing I didn't particularly like was that the duvet and pillowcases had fold lines and wrinkles from packaging. A quick toss for 15 minutes in the dryer straightened them out though.
These sheets are terrible quality. They are thin and poorly made. We moved from the US after I bought them and so I wasnt able to return them. Because I was stuck with them I used them and when I washed them they were even worse. One washing and they looked like a rag. I have thrown them out they are such awful quality.
We bought this duvet cover set to go with the ecru colored sheets we already have for our new king size bed. The color on the strips match very well, and the design is simple yet classic. Most importantly, the fabric is so soft to the touch. Definitely a high quality product and is worth the extra bucks!
