I did not read the buying guides prior to purchasing this product. I have stayed in hotels with tempurpedic mattresses and had very good night sleeps. I have since found out that a memory foam topper should be no more than 3 inches thick and have a high density of around 4-5 pounds. This mattress topper is 4 inches thick with only 2 pounds of density. This makes for very little support and a pad that is WAY too soft. We received the topper in the mail two days ago and have had two nights with sore backs... You can tell the topper is not good quality by pressing your hand down on it... it does not leave an impression at all... not much better than a plain foam topper...

this mattress doesn't have good 'memory-foam' quality (is more like regular foam) but i kept it anyway. Now it's developed a permanent dent in the middle after less than 2 months sleeping on it. I'm disappointed.

I originally purchased the 2" version of this mattress topper, and I loved it. It helped me start getting better sleep and less pain when I did sleep. I liked it so much I decided to get the 4" one instead. I am SO glad that I did. In my review of the 2" one I said that it was like my bed was hugging me. I take that back. The 4" is like my bed is hugging me. I crawl into bed and sink in perfectly. I have had this for about a month now and I look forward to crawling into bed every time. It is by far the most comfortable topper there is, and even more comfortable than a friends TempurPedic bed (and a fraction the cost). I suggest anyone that wants a better nights sleep get this product. Absolutely amazing.Thanks!!

I received the mattress topper (king size) in a rather smallish box. I followed the instructions and rolled it open. It did not look like much so I left it in the spare room to air out and to grow up as advised. A couple of hours later it was already looking much better. I left it overnight and put it on my bed the next day. There was no odor and It fit my mattress perfectly and added 4 inches in height immediately. My sheets fit better now too. It is really just a king size piece of polyurethane but oh what a relief it is! Had been having trouble sleeping on my side and used to tossing and turning. I had a great night and look forward to enjoying my purchase. My husband is reserving his judgment as he is not sure yet and has to get used to it. He did get a good nights sleep though and he thinks he likes it.I am very pleased with the price. It is made in USA , an extra bonus. Overstock's service is great. It came in 3 days and was just as described. We are non-smokers but I do not recommend it for smokers as it comes with a warning that it is highly flammable. It can be used with an electric blanket though. I used it with mine.

Very comfortabe memory foam mattress topper. Highly recommended...and I'm a chiropractor.

My California King Mattress is 82 inches long, I have a very tall Husband. The CalKing Topper is only 78 inches and looks ridiculous on my bed. To return this would be more expensive than it is worth, this is my first time having ordered from your company and I am not impressed.

This product is made of very thin TWO pound density foam. Good toppers should be FOUR to FIVE pound density to retain proper support. This one is more air than product...so save your money and go for a slightly more expensive four or five pound density product!

The "visco-elastic" foam used in this mattress topper is of an extremely low density, and does not hold a "memory" for more than a second or so. In my experience, it is more of a comfortable pad than a true memory foam mattress topper. I'm using Tempur-pedic(TM) memory foam as a standard here. I give it 4 stars for value because for the price, it is quite a large piece of very comfortable padding that can be used to stuff pillows and coushins, or even be used as a mattress topper if you're just looking to soften up the mattress.

What a waste of $$$$$. It is not a good product. I had to return it because it made my back worse than it already is!

I was very pleased with the bed topper. I ordered the topper for my husband for Christmas and he really likes it. I wanted a topper that was "all" memory foam. Unlike a lot of the toppers in this same price range, this topper is all memory foam. It is very comfortable and is not hot to sleep on.

I previously bought two other memory foam mattress toppers as gifts--one for my parents and one for my brother and his wife. They love theirs, so I finally purchased one for myself. No smell at all after opening the box, and the topper quickly came to its full size. Put topper on a thinner, cheaper mattress in a guest room, and it really makes the bed more comfortable. Would buy another if needed.

If you need a topper for your existing mattress this one might do the trick. Quick delivery, easy to unpack and much better to sleep on than the older mattress that I had.

I purchased this for my grandmother who has mobility issues and needed a more supportive bed. I really liked that they have the Twin XL option as that is what her hospital-style bed is. I had it shipped to her residence because I am out of state. About a week later I went home for a visit and found that she was not using the product. It was way too soft and she said she felt like she sank down into it so far that it made it harder for her to get out of bed, even with her caregivers' help. I touched the mattress and could immediately tell what she meant. It was nothing like the memory foam mattress I own (also purchased through Overstock, but a different brand that no longer seems to be available). It seemed more like a thicker version of those cheap foam toppers you see at discount stores. I offered to return it, but she wants to keep it for the coming time when she is completely bed-ridden because it was very comfortable. I realize that our situation is not the norm for people who buy these products, but, in case anyone else with mobility problems is considering this, I'd suggest looking for something much firmer.

Very soft, super thick, just a little hot. Great price for quality.

This mattress topper was GREAT for the first 6 or 7 months; however, it's been a year now that I have owned this product, and the foam has now basically collapsed in the middle. That is, to say, there is a dent in the middle of it that is inevitable to roll into/onto during sleep because you sink into it. This is starting to cause my back problems to reoccur. I would *not* recommend getting this topper unless you are considering it for a short-term use. I'm disappointed that it did not last longer and I now have to purchase a new one, which will definitely be from a different brand.

Adds a great feeling to our bed...this is our second one and we just love it....well worth the money!

this is a good mattress topper, could be a little larger, doesn't quite cover the whole bed but I am happy with the comfort.
